  just curious if anyone has ever watched the show before and seen how they show a shot of ny city every morning to talk about the weather.

  anyway the shot is from brooklyn and you anc clearly see the watchtower complex in the foreground.

  I am usually never home either at that time but I was home sick from work yesterday. and I agree that she is very easy on the eyes, thats mostly why I left the show on.

  for those who have seen both shows, what is the better of the two in terms of humor?

  i know that the original uk office was revolutionary but the us version seems to hit my funny bone a little harder.

  your thoughts?.

  It took me a little while to stop comparing Ricky Gervais to Steve Carrell but once I did I was able to see how funny the US version is.

  just a few notes.

  the entire ass-embly was dealing with materialism or higher education; apparantly one leads to the other.

  why cant the wts realize that higher education is not just a means to get rich or ahead in this system, but a means to have a career outside of janitorial work?

  I have not been to the assembly in years but went to the public talk last sunday(im a mommas boy) and it was one of those STORE YOUR TREASURES IN HEAVEN NOT ON EARTH talks. It harped and harped on how some brothers and sisters should rethink their prioritys and focus on the afterlife.

  Its such recylcled drivel. But noone there sees it.

  hi everyone, just wondering what your thoughts are on people that say they are born gay?

  ive heard that this isnt actually possible, and that there is no scientific backing to it, im personaly not gay but i was just wondering what some of you think on this matter, and if you have anything to back it up with, thanks,.

  I am flabbergasted that they've been here all along and I didn't think to look for them... I've been out 8 years... was I still in denial somehow?

  I am a similar situation with you. I was out for 8 years as well before I found this board and it was a little much to handle.

  Old Rutherford vinyl records...

  my mother found some old jw records a couple of months ago, they apparently were what the dubs used to use when they were witnessing, theyd go out with a record player and play these records to people to preach to them.. just wondering if anyone else has any of these?

  im guessing theres probly not that many of them around, i think i have about 6 or so of them and they are quite old, (im at work at the moment so i cant really tell you any more about them) i was thinking that i mite sell them on ebay, maybe ill get a bit of cash for them.. .

  Crisis of Conscience by Raymond Franz is what helped me get back my sanity when I was at the point you are right now. I and I'm sure most others would highly recomend it to anyone seeking answers about the top of the organizatioin
