Sometime around 1994. Part of my fade was going to two different groups in the same hall. My new one and my old one and then stopped going all together, so I'm not sure which one. All I do know is that it was so stale and boring that I felt like I was in a dentist chair sort of. Could not wait to get out of there. The material had become so tired that i could finish all sentences spoken. I still talk witness once in a while for a laugh, recently i got together with an old and we chattered the talk for a while it was good fun, not so funny that it was still there so many years later. If it wasn't such a pile of horse crap i'd still probably pop in once in a while.

I'm developing a presentation for when they visit, I want to work in the whole" lemon party" theme that is the governing body in NY, no one should google that if they don't know what it mean, just don't go the bethel in expecting anything less than full on bath house action.

How many hours of service do I need to put in to get out of this armatwisten? What if i put in double that, do I get to bring my CD collection? Imagine if only JW's were the only ones left, I'm not so sure I want in. XJWs yes, especially the interesting, cool, fun, ones who are living life to the fullest and making the world a better place. If they aren't going to have Santa Clause parades I'm out for sure, I want to go where the dogs go and all that.

two ladies come to the door
by Martyn init sort of sounds like the beginning of a joke.
i sort of gave them shit and my wife who knows very little about my jw past was sort of suprised.
i realized how angry i am for all the damage that has been done.

Thank you, good advice. I can only imagine what people who have spent a life time suffering must feel, I only had a small attack. thanks again. Deep down I know these things, but it seems to help to hear it from other.

It sort of sounds like the beginning of a joke. I sort of gave them shit and my wife who knows very little about my JW past was sort of suprised. I realized how angry i am for all the damage that has been done. I don't blame the ladies, just the whole org and all it's crap. I talked a bit to my wife about things and it sort of brought back some memories. A couple of things stood out. When I was a new guy going to my first convention in Toronto my book study guy warned me about the people who would be protesting the convention and all about them being apostates...and how i thought nothing of it and just wondered why they would want to leave gods perfect org? The other thing was the book study and talking about masterbation, and how it was wrong and not to do it. I just agreed with everything said and went with it without really questioning any of it. It makes me wonder what I was thinking at th etime. The further away i get from my last meeting the more insane and silly the whole things seems. I still can't believe I bought in to it. I guess I wanted to belong somewhere really bad. It's been about 20 years and it still comes back. Does this go away? Will I forgive my self for wasting all that time? take care. Marty

Just saw an elderly JW man...
by zengalileo inhe was walking with such a slump, dragging his feet, carrying a jacket, magazines barely visible just hanging from his fingertips.
if body language has any validity to it, this man was deeply discouraged and depressed.
i remember that slump too.

Should have accused him of being a Mormon just for a kicker.

id JWs RIP you OFF in the MARRIAGE Dept.?
by Ms. Whip inthis photo (taken from a jw group on aol) is quite typical of jw marriage matches.

I was never married while I was a member, but I still remember the desperation. Now that you mention it I did see
a few Great Dane -Tea Cup Poodle crosses.
Since I'm male and was about 24 at the time I got a lot of attention and that may be why I stuck around as long as
I did.

hi
I don't want to fit into any of those.
I have so many other things going on in my life those labels don't work into my schedule.
