  Why did you get baptized?

  was it for love of the kingdom hall and jehovah?

  pressure .. felt like you had to?

  for me it was because all my friends my age had gotten baptized.. and it was left up to me to do it too.. to fit in i guess.

  Which meeting was the hardest to attend for you ?

  for me i think it was the sunday meeting.. just wanting to stay home and sleep in.. but i think the watchtower study was the hardest to sit threw... you had to have it studied before hand.. and highlighted.. then sit there and listen to it all over again..

  I have to say as many here have, they all made me want to bang my head. Some of the "Talking Sleeping Pills" on Sunday were pretty bad especially if you heard the talk a million times as they continually play the same ole' broken record, scratched cd, or wrinkled cassette tape!

  my JW daughter in law, and the DC!!

  we had a minor breakthrough in the family this week.

  my eldest son's wife is the only one of my little family still attending anything to do with jw's.

  last weekend she attended friday at the district convention, with her sister, her sister's 12 year old daughter, and my two grandsons, 6 years and 8 months.. two things happened there:.

  The wonderful time your daugter-in-law had (in line at the ladies room) was a common one, that goes on at those District Conventions of "sumptuousness!" It's sad that the all those ladies have to stand there like herded cattle. Every time we go it sickens me to see that the rented facilities are just not adequate. So do those damn "attendants" that walk around like strutting peacocks, hoping and even praying I bet, for the opportunity to BOSS someone around, even though many have had to travel many hours to the convention sites only to be goaded by these half-wits that delight in flexing their "Im an attendant, see my badge" muscle.

  Makes me want to hit them over the head with a sword!
