  What was the most laughable JW teaching??

  hi all.

  in your opinion, what was the silliest , most laughable watchtower teaching/doctrine, since its beginning until now???.

  Did anyone else look at the whole "eternal life on a Paradise earth" scenario and think...that doesn't really sound like much fun! I mean
  
  yeah, you get to live forever peacefully with a bunch of people and animals. But then there's the things that don't seem to add up quite

  Like those pics of animals playing with colourful balls. Who's going to make all those balls. Somewhere in the new system there must be a ball factory, which means that for someone paradise means working in a factory making balls for lions to pop with their claws. Plastic balls mean that somewhere there's going to be a plastic factory, pumping out toxic fumes and someone has to work there making plastics and of course if you want to make plastic you're going to need crude oil so somewhere in the new system in this paradise on earth someone's going to have to be drilling for oil...

  Being able to Force choke some brother or sister giving a really boring during the WT study would be pretty neat I think. Jedi Mind tricks on house owners again neat, think of all those mag placements you could do.

  Jcs could be replaced with light saber fights down at the KH and appostates get to wear those neat "sith" monk robe things with the hoods

  Funny/strange things you ate as a kid.

  ok i'll start.. 13 y/o or so.. once it rained for a month straight.

  we had an old dry tank dump in the back that filled up with water.

  there were tons of frogs that showed up and started breeding.. i was looking at them on the edge of the water through my .22 scope.

  Anybody else watch "Fear Itself"?

  this show will probably get cancelled but i like how it's a different story each episode, usually with a twist.

  it's like a new horror movie every week.

  some are better than others but now that "lost" is over until next season i'm grooving on this show.

  Seen it. Like you said some are better than others. The first episode about the Vampire in the barn was pants but the episode about the two guys that swapped bodies in the hospital was disturbing!

  ....waking up to the real truth about the truth?......when it first really hit me like a shovel in the face.....i actually said to the co i would have to leave my wife and son (not hers)) and he is now 20 (not the co..my son), and i said it because i knew i would now never measure up to the "spiritual head" model.

  cause i knew it was all bs...but have not really ran away yet....at least not for more than a week at a time.........doing better actually.......but did you want to at least move or something?

  I ran away and disapeared from everyone when I wanted to fade away.

  I knew that I'd give in and go back to the meetings if someone bothered to find out why I was missing so I had to do a runner. I transferred jobs and moved to London to hide, met an Australian girl and ended up going off to Oz with her for nearly a year just because I wanted to get as far away from the truth and anyone in it as possible.

  I think I might have won the "who ran away the furthest" contest in here.

  I was sat by the window eating in a restaurant in S.F one evening when a woman started to knock on the window and started to beckon me out. She looked distressed and disheveled and I thought she'd been attacked and needed help. So I stopped eating, got up out of my seat and went outside to see if I could help her. When I got out side I asked what was up... She then asked me if I could go back inside and buy her glass of wine and bring it out to her! lol

  there are some things i need to prove to my mum, here they are... .

  firstly the cuneiform tablet with part of the babylonian chronicle (605-594).

  before i discuss this with mum i need to know that this is accepted fact and nothing will change what it says or affect its content.

  Kids fill paper bags with Mayo, they then go for a drive, spot a victim walking down the street then lob the bag full of Mayo out of the window whilst speading past.
