I am going to start by telling a little of my story. When I was growing up, my mother was a witness, and my father was not. My mother took me and my brother and sister to the meetings with her. My mom was always so proud of us when we were doing things Jehovahs way, so when I was 12 I got baptized just to have her love and acceptance. When I was 14 I was disfellowshiped. After that my mother would be as hateful to me as she could be and she will now go on trips with the "witness" kids that I grew up with and will barely talk to me. Since I have been out I have seen a lot of cut and dry facts that prove that the Jo Ho's are a very mind controled and controling organization. When I try to show her where they have contradicted themselves in the articles throughout the years she always throws up that I am an apostate and that nothing I do will ever change her mind. Please help me while I still have a chance. This bitch is CRAZY!!!!!!! and now I have 3 children of my own and I cannot get my mom to shut up about the witnesses and now my daughter is wanting to be a witness cause she picks up on the positive responses she gets from my mom when she talks about "Jehovah". How do I stop all this non-sense without totally banning my mom from my childrens lives????? HELP!!!!!!!

Why are you on this site??? are you an elder or are the elders aware that you even read the things posted on this site??? I was 14 when I was disfellowshiped, FOURTEEN!!!! I went forward with the truth, I was repentive, but.... since I did not give very explicit details of the "sexual acts" (14, remember 14) I was not repentive enough. Crushed me. Just wondering if you were an active JW there NON???? The way you talk sounds like you are kind of defending them. And what happened with most of us is that we did start to see the "truth" after a while of being brain washed. Just like with marriage and dating, no one shows their true self up front. The front is put on to impress and grab and then once they are secure that they have that person then the true colors come out and the love slowly dies. Look at it. If someone is studying with the Witnesses then everyone in the congregation will do everything that is needed to help that person studying, but after about a year of being baptized, if you are not a pioneer then they start looking at you to fault for some reason or another. Then the problems just start happening. Tell me your story. Why would you post something like that if you know how it is, and if you are still an active JW then what are you doing on this site anyway. You could be disfellowshiped for any dealings that you may have with apostates!!!!!! Think about it!!!!!!!!

DATELINE May Be Pre-Empted or Rescheduled!
by Mister Biggs inthere will be an nba playoff game on nbc at 9:00 pm est.. this means that dateline will either be pre-empted or shown at 8:00 pm est.. according to my tv guide that i received in the mail yesterday, it is scheduled to come on at 10:00 pm est.. that would mean that it will be pre-empted.. however, tvguide.com shows dateline being scheduled to air at 8:00 pm est.. that would mean that it would air as scheduled.. so, since friday's (may 24) dateline will be the last show until tuesday (sunday's is pre-empted) they should announce at the end of the show what will be coming up for tuesday the 28th.. let's keep an eye on this.. the only thing definite is that it will not air at 10:00 pm est (for all you vcr-heads) on may 28.. my apologies, of course, if someone has already addressed this.

I remember after the Sept. 11 incident my granny(a nutty JW) would always keep it on CNN and one day I was watching and she said that there were 4 Witnesses that had been injured and one had died and how sad it was. I looked at her and I said "granny, what is sad is that almost 4,000 people lost their life period" SHE JUST LAUGHED!!!!! Screw us all if we don't worship the almighty WTS!!!!

I just got through reading this and I cannot believe some of the things that are going on and continue to go on. When I was fourteen I was disfellowshiped for "fornication" but yet one of the elders sons (who was a MS) had been messing with me and when I brought it to the elders attention they acted as though I was the devil and that this man (he was 21 at the time, HELLO I WAS 14) was just tempted by a little tart. LOL of course I couldn't be happier now to be disfellowshiped from this cult, but at the time I was hurt and thought that I had done something wrong. Funny looking back I always felt so guilty, but now I know the guilty ones and I feel thankful for the way that my life is now!!!!
