  I'm starting to worry......

  i've always known that i am a bit obsessive, but lately i've been starting to worry about it.

  when i was taught jw stuff, i really got into it.

  i know that most women are supposed to be able to think and do a million things at once.

  Done the dinner thing.....my son needs a bath.....too bad....this is bad.

  Onacruse is in "DENIAL"................that's it! Remember now Grits! Oh yea, and I forget my husband's name?????????????? It is a great place for communing...lol and healing etc. I am glad that Simon did some 'weeding' This place should be welcoming to newbies, don't ya think? I am sooooo tired too Cruse! The only reason I was not here last night is because we had a major thunderstorm and it knocked our power out all night long. Thank God for small wonders, eh?

  I'm really starting to worry though. This is addictive and I don't do well with addictions........I hope it runs it course only a little longer or else I'm gonna gain 50 lbs., get a divorce and my children will be awarded the state for negligence........oh yea, and Syn, I've been pondering....what in the heck is IRCS speak?? I honestly haven't a clue............dj

  Hello...looking for some experiences

  i am the mother of a 25yr.

  old daughter...she has broken off her engagement to her young man..after discovering that they have a few differences in beliefs...she is sick at heart and so am i..after a year of dating they got engaged...then a year later..she dicovers he is an inactive jw...they lived together...and she has a two year old baby..he is not the father...but he is a wonderful man..and really was very good to her and my grandson...my grandson calls him daddy...well the issures started popping up...all of the sudden...he is a jw...and he doesnt celebrate...anything...not so much said..as he doesnt show for the festivities...sort of passive restance...long story short..they started discussing..issures..and my daughter freaks over the not accepting transfusions...her precious baby...not save his life!!

  !...she is not a staunch christian...but she has absorbed beleifs having been raised in my church...now she is laying here with tears...and trying to figure out how they can make this work....he says that she can raise the baby in her beilfs...and they could just each beleive what they beleive...she is in that same mode..her heart hurts..and she wants to figure out a way that all this will work...she keeps asking me...she is twenty-five...i am her monther...i am heartsick...i want my daughters happiness...for the long haul...we discussed about the words warning of being unevenly yoked...i was hoping prehaps she could get some of your experinces....and your insight....thank you....

  Hi Waido,

  I already posted but I can't seem to get your problem off of my heart. Will you please go to a site and read my thread, it has to do with the blood thing. It is at www.freeminds.org on the homepage there is a revolving box that says, Net Soup...click on the one that says "I'd like to Introduce Myself" and you may read my experience. Believe me that is only one part off all of the nonsense that I've been through because of that religion.

  I know he claims that your daughter can raise her child in her beliefs, I do not think he can. Also, what if they have children together? He will have the say over that child, he would be the head of the household.

  I can't stress strongly enough that you need to do research on this religion and what it does to families. The pain can be unbearable. I would also point you to the pedophile problem that they have. There are endless reasons why your daughter is in harms way..............Love, dj

  Dear Waido,

  I'm sorry for your daughter's pain right now. I truly with all of my heart think that she will be in for much deeper pain for the rest of her life and your grandchild's life...if she stays with him. He will not be good for her in the long run. I hope you will believe me on this one!

  She will get over him and find someone else. He is a bad influence for your grandchild. He will teach her and he is lying to you when he says he won't. Facts are Facts. This religion will cause much more pain than it is ever worth.

  I am now a Christian and I will always try to love others but this is not a good life for your daughter.

  Are You Influenced By Looks?

  on friday night i watched a report by abc tv's john stossel (in the normal 20/20 time slot) that dealt with how humans are influenced by looks.

  it was a re-broadcast, and even though this was the second time i've seen it it was still fascinating.

  to demonstrate whether we are influenced by appearance, several scenarios were set up, involving people considered attractive and those considered more 'plain'.

  Lol at Simon.......

  I think that looks are an advantage in most situations but I do also think that good looks can be a handicap. There are plenty of people (usually women) who will suddenly decide that they don't like you if they percieve you as better looking than them. It is sad. My sister is one of those people.

  I think that personality and a genuine heart are most endearing, although it does help if they look good too.

  Hi Grits: You are right about the interactive nature.......that is absolutely the key. If it was a sight w/o interaction, I'm sure that I'd have better control of myself! Soooo true, Beck and Mommy.......noone can understand an xdub except an xdub.... We have such a unique relationship. I feel as if I know you.

  I am really thrilled that this place exists but I have to get a grip about the amount of time I spend here. I am behind on laundry and bills and groceries and cleaning and talking to my family and, and, and, and.......I get really mad when I have to take a break to cook dinner.lol....

  When I first came here in May, I considered myself about 97% free of WT doctrines and I had been that way for several years. It may not seem too bad only having 3% doubt left, but it was haunting and when you have my obsessive nature, it's all encompassing. Anyway, since I 've been here I am 100% free of their lies!!!!!! I never thought that would ever happen!!!!!!! I do not have all of the answers to life's questions regarding religions but it doesn't matter anymore. Having my personality, that is a MAJOR accomplishment!!!! There is a psalm, I forget which one...(lol, part of my deprogramming......I don't memorize them anymore..lol) it says: BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD.............so cool, in other words....shut your mouth and quit worrying, I gottcha covered.I love that!!!

  Thanks for your responses guys, I enjoyed yours, Grits...maybe we are long lost twins!

  ok, this will probably sound really stupid to most people but.... when i was little, i had a go of a toy called 'vertibird' in a shop near us.. it was brilliant!.

  this was the one toy i have always wanted.

  whenever i've been to toys-r-us with the kids i've always looked out for them but, alas, i've never found them.. until now !.
