by dontknow ini've had in the past studied a little about the bible with jws but have yet decided to be baptised.. i've just read lavenders' moving letter to her son and her love and well being for him is very obvious.
i do like the bible teachings very much and to this day i'm very interested in the end of the system of things which will very soon come to fruition; i'm a very strong believer, however i must stipulate to all, in retrospect i'm not sinless.
one of the posters says that jw's ask you to do a liitle bible study with them, attend one of their meetings and when you get baptised you have to do exactly what you are instructed or else.

What was the most hypocritcal thing you saw at the kingdom Hall ?
by Handsome Dan inhere's one that comes to mind : are c o gave a sunday morning talk i remember and the theme of the talk was " the dangers of materialistic desires ".
well after the meeting me and my jw buddies who usually hung out by the cars in the summer were checking out what was a brand new black chysler imperial, big and beautiful with .
burgundy leather interior we were just wowed and we wondered who owns that ?

Years ago my brother in law "borrowed" his Mom's car when she went out of town. He had an accident and wrecked it. He took it to the body shop, had it repaired and painted and parked it in the driveway just in time for Mom's return. She took one look at the car and said: what did you do to my car? He was soo busted!

How's your recovery from the WTS coming along?
by Frannie Banannie ini came on this forum a few years ago, already hyped up from online xjw chat groups and the h2o forum and raring to kick some jdubya butt.
then i began to calm down and i began to reach out to the newbies coming to this forum, helping (hopefully) where i could.
after a while the subject of jdubya-ism began to sour on my brain and i began absenteeism from jwd at times, but i always come back.
