thanks for the recipe! I may try it i usually burn flapjack when i make it so a runnier consistency might help me - they usually turn out like bricks!

Hi Caine
You probably don't feel excites about being reinstated because of the doubts you are having. It will be hard having to pretend but i can see fully why you'd want to go back for your family. Once your'e reinstated you can always start to fade slowly, eventually become inactive in fs as having to talk to others about the religion when your'e doubting it yourself is really difficult. Best of luck to you anyway and don't forget you can always come and get it out of your system here! Debbie

Cute BW he looks like my rabbit! Our pancakes are alot bigger and thinner than those though. I had loads of lemon juice on mine, and my husband had chopped fruit in his. The boys have asked for them again tomorrow! Why didn't i think of maple syrup - i have a can of that in the cupboard that someone brought back from Canada! I guess its a bit like golden syrup?Cherry pie filling mmm..

My sister in law telling me she and her family have to limit association with me - it only drives me nuts cos I know the truth about the 'truth' and she doesn't lol!
When it comes up in conversation that i'm vegetarian and some automatically tell me i need meat and start lecturing me - i would'nt tell them not to eat it so don't tell me i should if i don't want to - aagh!
Trying to understand anything digital or connected with computers - esp. trying to post pictures on here!

Whats the "rule" on shepherding calls?
by ButtLight ini dont remember that much, but arent they suppose to stop by at least once a year to df'd ones?
or did that change?.
its coming up to two years now since i was df'd, and not one elder has stopped by...........not that i want them to!.

dobbie
Well i hope i never get a shepherding call cos i'd tell them to bog off. I am surprised though that they haven't bothered to try to see my husband(inactive) to see how hes holding up, having such an evil wife lol!Especially as three of the elders are related to him(i think they prefer golf its all they seem to do)

The last meeting was about dec 05 when i went to collect mags and the brother was really rude to me for no reason. The last time on the ministry was just before that when this sister took me to a 'weak' couple from our other congregation, then proceeded to gossip about several in the congragations, private things affairs, etc, things i didn't want to know about and that was none of our business. I carried on helping her with two studies she had with the new teach book, but found myself questioning her about several things, which she did'nt like in front of the studies - she didn't care that all the innocent babies etc would apparently be killed with their parents, including her grandchildren - i've got plenty of others, she said. I stopped that, googled jehovahs witnesses read coc book. The final straw came when my hubbys step father came round saying he wanted to help and when i tried to say i'd give my children blood he said i was selfish and looked at me as if i was dog poo - the fanaticism i saw on his face actually scared me when i realised he 100 percent believed it all - i knew then i had to get out of something so rotten. I wrote a letter leaving, my hubby wanted me to meet face to face with them but i knew from my experience of talking to his step father they wouldn't listen. Wish i'd done it years ago.
