  Mother Pregnant With 18th Child

  I admit i would have liked a bigger family(not 18 though!) but have been advised to stop at no 3, but although i stay at home i struggle now to give each child the time and attention i'd liked to, the washing machine is constantly on the go now, i dread to think what it would be like with 18 kids!

  I wonder why they've name all the children with names beginning with 'J', i'd totally get all their names mixed up if i did that, two of mine have similar names and i always call them by the wrong one! (of course that could be an age thing!)

  As A Former JW, Do You Feel You Should "Apologize" For Past Actions?

  do you believe that you should now apologize for whatever actions you made when you were a witness?.

  do you think that if you were an elder that you should contact those that might've felt oppressed by you and your "theocratic" actions?.

  if you were a zealous preacher, do you now feel you should go back to your former bible students and tell them the error of your ways?.

  Well i have apologised to my closest family (non jws) for being a jw all those yrs and missingout on all the celebrations, not participating in things etc, i feel bad about alot of things but its only now that i have moved on from it all and have got over it all,shunning etc that i have said sorry and spoken about it all, mainly to my mum. Some of it was unforgivable and i can't change it so i have to carry on and make the best of my time and be there for others to try and feel i am making some amends however small.

  so someone in my hubbys family who has been shunning me and i have not been able to see her kids etc and said it was my choice to leave so i must accept the consequences etc has been caught out.

  she's had three affairs over the last two years, with both sexes plus watching porn sex toys etc .

  anyway its her final jc meeting tonight, so do you reckon (and she has told them she can't say it definately won't happen again!

  Well i went up and spoke to her today as she looked pretty rough and ended up talking things over. I thought she is going to find it hard to leave and i know what it feels like so she might be glad of some support if its needed. She is going to take a break from the religion and see how she feels after a while, she is also going to research it to see that she does believe it for her own sake not just cos she was brought up in it - i'm just hoping she doesn't come here now and see all my bitter rantings lol but then i have been so mad at the whole lot of jws i can't help it!

  What's Your Favorite Candy or "Goody"?

  i love milk chocolate raspberry, cherry, actually any fruit, candies.. i love hershey's with almonds.. i'm in a sweettooth type of mood..

  Well i will hav to mention just a few or i'll be here all night as i have a very sweet tooth!

  My favorite chocolates are Ferrero Rocher, Cadburys Whole Nut and Galaxy Ripple bars - i used to LOVE Wispa bars but you can't get them anymore!

  My favorite sweets (is that what candy means i am guessing) would be Sherbet Fountains (but not the liquorice stick just the sherbet) sherbet dipdabs , fizzy cola bottles, pink shrimps and fizzy flying saucers (rice paper with sherbet inside)

  Oh yes and who mentioned CurlyWurlies? I love them!

  However i don't eat these things all the time, i am just as happy with a satsuma or a bit of watermelon just as sweet and tasty!

  She'll be fine Sass! She's as hard as they come, i know her jw best mate will still see her and i am pretty sure she will have a few wild months like she wants and then go and get reinstated. It's her two young ones and her poor husband i feel the most sorry for. Plus the kids will have a dogs life now they do already. Yes i do feel a sorry for anyone going to go through the shunning but then she offered me no support or even a smile all this time while she has been doing all this even with kids in the house at the time, and i think this will actually do her good and she might lose some of the attitude she has always had. I though she had confessed but apparently her friend did after she refused to do it herself and it had been going on for ages. Poor little kids will be even more dragged up now.

  The results are in the majority of you were correct! D'fed! (has got the next week to appeal though before it is announced). Hubby divorcing her and she rang her mother last night who said she can't go and stay with her anymore. I was so sure she was going to be allowed to stay in! Now she will find out just how horrible and upsetting being shunned is (i am actually already feeling sorry for her!)

  She admitted it to them but only because she had told a few jw friends and then finally one of them told her if she didn't own up to it all then she would go and tell them. Otherwise she'd still be at it now. Then she admitted to the other affair when they asked if there was anything else, and she said she was attracted to that sort of thing and couldn't say it wouldn't happen again.

  I know what you mean Choosing Life but this is someone who is married with two young uns and has been really making me suffer just for being honest and saying i can't live that religion anymore and all the time she has been doing this whilst acting all self righteous!

  hmm i'm not so sure, she's done it before you see and was allowed to stay in. Boy i bet the elders loved hearing all the gory details lol! So far then 4 for d'f and 1 (me) thinks she will get off!

  Changeling yes that's the point my hubby says, if she gets off after saying that he will finally leave it for good cos he'll be so disgusted at the hypocrites.
