Subliminal images on new Revelation book reprint?
by tsar_robles inall,.
i have a question to ask .... does anyone have the new edition of the 'climax' book?.
the reason i ask is because i've been wondering if the wts ever removed those subliminal images...specifically those on pages 52 and 159?.

Thank you again, XOCO. I yet have to post my introduction :)
But I can sure tell you I identify with most around here... at one time believed, at another time too many 'privileges' got to my head, at another time I was just going through the motions which lead me to stop caring about God and spirituality all together... this in turn leading me to 'trouble' and not caring about it as I already had stopped believing in the WTS.
As far as my nick goes, it evolved from my days when I 'served' in a foreign congregation, russian that is. It was in the days when 'branching out' was the way to go, lol. However, for me it was more of a way to make the meetings worthwhile; meaning if I 'had' to go I thought I'd at least learn something new, a language that is.... lol
The language it's now fading but everynow and then I do come across people I can practice it with...

Thanks XOCO, but what about the demonic looking claw hand that appeared on page 52 of the old book print?

Knights Templar logos and "cross and crown' on old Watchtower covers!!!
by Witness 007 inthe old watchtowers {see proclaimers book} had a middle-ages knight with a lance on it in one corner.
also the "cross and crown" was visable in the other corner.
if you research "cross and crown knights templar" on the net, you find that this was a masionic christian fraternity starting from the 1700's and very popular in charles russell's day.

In the end the organization becomes fully part of "Babylon the Great" and therefore the warning in Revelation to "Get Out of Her MY people!" How is it that God's people, his true worshippers end up in Babylon the Great during the last days? It's because of how the "man of lawlessness" corrupts the organization and apparently makes it a haven for Freemasonry
Interesting thought, similar to E-Watchmans regarding the man of lawlessness. However, how can anyone convince a JW that the calling to get out of Babylon has not occurred yet as JWs think?

Compelling story...
This reminds me of my own personal situation many years ago...
My dad's family have deep roots in Texas, yet when he grew up he migrated south... Mexico City, where he met my mother and the place where both my brother and I were born. Later on as living conditions became more difficult down in Mexico he decided to process our visas and move back to the US.
Funny thing is the day we crossed the border we were broke, we had only a few thousand pesos (a couple of dollars) and plenty of dreams. Despite us having crossed the border legally, we were pretty much in the same boat as most of these illegal aliens.
So, for those of us that consider illegals the same as criminals... if this is true, then all of us are also criminals one way or another. Think about it: Who amongst us has not broken ANY law of the land? There are so many laws that people break daily to count, including minor infractions such as speeding, etc. Yet some of these laws do not automatically make someone a criminal. It is up to the government to decide which are and which are not.
So in any case, my family and I had to break a few laws to get to where we wanted to be. We boarded a cargo train which could be considered trespassing and yet when the border patrol interrogated us about our immigrant status after having stopped the train the officer did not mention anything about us breaking any law.
Well, I am sleepy and can't think anymore. All I can say is that I have grateful memories of those days when so many 'wordly' people overwhelmed us with aid while traveling close to 3,000 miles. Not one day did we spend the night hungry or without shelter... Thus, stories like this bring us a little bit of hope :)

Finally I get to introduce myself .
by Nick! inon october 6th i registered in this forum, and gave a brief description of my personal experience, promising i would expand later.
the time has gone by very rapidly, other different priorities have kept me away from this forum, which i will not cover otherwise i would take even more time going down to the core of the subject.
my objective, in this forum, is to be of help to others who might be at a loss and who are confronted with the difficult issue of being loyal or leave the organization.

Nick I had a similar situation in my early years where I was cleared up of accusations and yet nothing was done to the slanderers. I believe I was 17 yrs old when I decided to move where 'the need was greater'. I asked the presiding overseer if that was ok with him. He said yes. I asked him if I had to meet with the body of elders for them to give ok. He said no. Well, then I moved to my new assignment. My new elders loved me so much they were expecting me to help them in every way. I remember even conducting the sunday watchtower study every now and then.
Well, this didn't go for too long. When the time came for my new secretary to ask for my publisher card that's when hell broke loose. My publisher record was sent with an awful 'recommendation' letter. They were not recommending me to continue as MS. The arrival of this letter coincided with the CO visit. He read me the letter and asked for explanation after each accusation; these were:
1. Developing an attraction for a young sister in my former congregation. (Duh, I was 17-18 and so was she). - The CO laughed hard; he thought they were referring to a 13-14 year old girl.
2. Not showing up to conduct field service meetings. - Explained to him that it happened ONCE when I had a blown tire and no cell phone - I was a young and poor pioneer bro.
I can't remember the other reasons they gave but were as dumb as these two. The CO had to refer the case to the WTS and my new elders asked me they would argue on my behalf but that I was welcome to attach my own letter to theirs. However, I was told that it would be better if I did not as that would make me look rebellious. I did not and things were cleared up.
One of the few positive things about this whole ordeal had to do with an explanation the CO gave me. He asked me to be patient and do not let the accusations get to me. He then told me, "look, every single day there is murder, an abortion or something evil...and our God Jehovah is blamed for these things. He is very patient though and will wait fo the day things are cleared up." Whether this is the case with God or not, it did help me then. But then the CO blew it afterwards as he said to leave things on Jehovah when I inquired about some sort of judicial discipline against the slanderer elders.

New insight on Rev 5 & 7?
by tsar_robles inwell, i must state first that it was not me that caught the following but rather my wife.
while considering the following chapters of revelation we noticed the following:.
av re 5:5 and one of the elders saith unto me, weep not: behold, the lion of the tribe of juda, the root of david, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
