Damn, I HATE Cleaning....

just got done cleaning the house.

i hate cleaning.

I do most of the cleaning in my house (yes, I am a man! LOL) since my wife is a lazy cow.
...and, having been a jw, I have some professional experience in cleaning toilets. Personally, I find it quite satisfying - a sort of 'job well done' ethos.

hearing news on tv about 'peace & security'.........seeing blood sausage in a store............ hearing / reading about hypocrisy exposed in 'worldly religions' .........do you have children at school and instantly react with the immediate no of jw think at every request re after school activities.

do these or other things cause yoiu to momentarily slip back to the thought controlled personality you had with its auto responses.....or have you been able to free yourself from these reactions?

Yes, I think we will always have those Pavlovian responses the WBTS so carefully programmed us with.
Personally I can see them tripping in but they have no effect whatsoever - I just reflect on them in an amused way.

when replying to a thread started by black man i said something like ........ " after armageddon is over we will all be dead, but satan will still be kicking, and then let loose again after christ's 1000 year reign, so satan already has his get out of armageddon card, he's already thru.

Kinda makes a mockery of that scripture that states that 'God is not partial' doesn't it?
How come we have immortality removed for our (inherited) sin and Satan doesn't? NOT fair.
A certain deal for Satan and his demons, a different deal for men, a different deal for women, a different deal for those unfortunate enough to be born in a Muslim country...
God is as injust as men...one rule for the 'rich' and another for the 'poor'.

you know, in the year and a half ive been here i have certainly noticed that personal conflict flourishes among the apostate/ ex dub major players (and not so major players.

) consider the irrepairable conflict between our simon and herr steinhaug and his band of norwegian major players.

consider the relatively recent bill bowen war on this board.

Ex-Jws do share a common heritage - we were all screwed by the WBTS.
However, once we wake up and smell what we were shoveling we become INDIVIDUALS with all that is implied by that status.
Unity - what does that mean? We are united in the common goal of exposing the WBTS for what it is... but how we do that and what we believe about things is subject to a million axioms of each individual being.
The WBTS kept unity by crushing dissent unmercifully, killing individuality, demonizing and destroying anything that did not conform to the stated path.
Disunity? It means we can share differing views.
Thank God for it.
