my pimi brainwashed wife wouldn't bat an eyelash if they started calling themselves this.

to her it would be new light and they could do nothing wrong.. but, how the not so brainwashed flock take this change?

This is legit. In the 2019 Elder's Schools the instructors are teaching that the new light is to call them The Faithful and Prudent slave.

there is so much wrong with the newly released october, 2019 but that's not unusual.

what stands out is there statement claiming that survival through armageddon depends on loyalty to those 'taking the lead'.

since they claim there will be a point during the gt that they (the gb) won't be physically around, jws must still be loyal to jw leaders.. whats interesting in this article is that they make it clear that they, the governing body are going to take part, from heaven, in the war of armageddon.

This is an article to prepare the followers into what inevitable is going to happen:

There are not many GB members that can claim that they belong to the second first overlap generation. I think someone said recently here that the new appointed (Or was it Sanders) is not even part of this first one.

So, inevitably, they will run out of anointed to fill the spots to belong to the GB class. This article clear the linage to bring in non-anointed to be the leaders, (supposedly, not the GB, but in reality they will be).

This article right here, is changing the structure of the organization. Soon, the leaders won't have to be annointed to be part of the GB at all. And the followers will swallow it just like that.

3 things:

1) The letter is legit (It is in the announcements - for elders only) for this month (May).

2) I think this comes because of what happened with The Royal Commission (Geoffrey Jackson). What's he not asked something along the lines of who directs this organization? Maybe the want to get rid of the Holy Spirit for legal reasons.

3) I can't image how weird, from an "religion" stand point, would be to be in the meeting where they would go like: "All right boys, we need to get rid of the Holy Spirit on this question".

My take: They will keep reporting monthly activities, BUT will be kept in the local congregation. No more sending over. They already do that with pioneers applications.
