When Will It End???

my wife's brother is going bonkers.

his wife just called my wife to come up there to see if maybe he had a stroke.. his wife and daughter were out shopping and he was in the car waiting for them.

when she got back to the car he asked, "who are you.?

Went through the stroke thing with my dad. The brain doc said there is a 3 hr window after the stroke for clot busting drugs to be administered. He lost his total left side, with in the 3 hrs he recovered the left side then his right side showed weekness now a full recovery. he's 77

Sometimes living in a small town has it's perks ......

i complain sometimes that it is annoying living in this small town of 6,000 because i am always running into (not over) my former witness "friends".

but there are perks too : yesterday my microwave stopped working , so i called the local downtown maytag dealer .

he promises to make a house call later in the afternoon to check it over .

I live in Nashville. Living in large towns is not for me. So Monday I leave for the USVI to see if I will like it there better. There are only 70,000 people on ST Thomas.

Clique Leader here i.e. first to get drivers license. This afforded fredoms others needed. Hence a clique. It also seemed that money people hung together. This was great for the kids of the clique as Flordia vacations became a min of 2 a year. I was always insured passage from there parents because I drove while they drank. My parents had a motorhome which piggy backed my freinds motor cycle. So in our clique a good time was had by all that were allowed membership.

energy and matter are neither created nor destroyed.. consequently, the building blocks of existence are actually finite parts.. to create things in "tomorrow" which are new, something has to be dismantled to leave spare parts for the new thing.. the old thing deteriorates, (dies) and the parts become the new thing.. time travel requires going to a place where all of today's parts are completely dismanteled and are being used (or not) to maintain yesterday/tomorrow.. ever see the film primer?.

Watchtower logo on side of kingdom hall

my old kingdom hall has the watchtower logo built into the brick work on the side that faces the road - to me for a hall that is supposed to be dedicated to god, its a bit wrong to have a corporation logo on the side of it.

maybe its there to show they and not the congregation own it???

When I was a child 3-4yr I remember going to a hall in the Lancaster Pa area and as part of the enterance there was a watchtower built into the building interior steps to the second floor. But better yet the building had a basement with a pool for baptisms.

So when do you put up your tree?

i hope you all had a great thanksgiving..... my husband was so inspired he went up to the attic and dragged down our tree the same day (the 23)... i have been decorating for 2 days serenaded by vince geraldi's charlie brown christmas music.

for some reason it feels extra special this year.

perhaps because after waffling for years with the witnesses i was finally able to let go this summer after finding this site.. so when are you putting up your christmas tree?.

My wife put our Martha Stewart pre-lit Kmart tree up this weekend. As I typed this she just informed me that it was an Ebay buy. Said it was a great deal, $50.00 delivered to our front door......WHEW Done.
