my mom telling me i had no rights infuriated me.

it made me feel like all my attempts at freedom were useless (well, they were...).

but the un made a thingy protecting children that a freind of mine found.

You know what that means...

Time to move to North Korea and help them launch missiles...

Or become the youngest president and actually DO SOMETHING RIGHT.

At this rate, I'll become a serial killer >.<!

Your opinion: Are those raised as Witnesses more likely to end up godless?

was thinking about this the other day and wanted to get your (yes: your) opinion.

i find myself slipping farther and farther down the agnostic scale in my thinking--it's possible that i'll end up an atheist.

my suspicion is that because i was raised being taught that all other religions are false, that i came to the conclusion that if the witnesses don't have "the truth" then nobody does.

I'm thinking an Ex-JW would be more inclined to go churchless. Like the "Better informed" theory.

I guess technically I'm agnostic. But I'm pretty much on the line between agnostic and athiest. I think the bible isn't true, but I'm not ready to say that for every other religion. I've had the bible shoved in places that I'm sure you all know. And thusly, I decided it was false.

But I have this crazy thing in my brain that demands I be fair. So I can't go off telling Hindus, Islamics, Taoists, etc that they're wrong. Because I know absolutely nothing about them.

That the society calls them "false", despite them not even being related to bible based, always irritated me. You can't proove them wrong with the bible, and you can't even proove yousrelf right with the bible.

For all we know, Christianity as a whole could be a joke conjured up by Loki (Norse god of mischief).

Is there Racial harmony among the JWs?

when i joined the jws, racial issues were not really discussed much, other than some mention in the material given to me during my bible study in the "truth" book.

our kingdom hall had only one dark skinned individual, who is portguese, and one of the anointed.

i believe that he is now deceased.

Well, here, we have none of those problems. Our congregation is more black than white, but its about 60%/40%. Most of my freinds there are black 4/5. And there is a couple there of oposite races, and they do fine.

There's just no problem with it.

Personally, I think multiracial girls are good looking. Right now, it seems like I'm in a asian-american phase. I just can't get over how hot asian-american girls are :P . But that switches every once in a while...wierd.

Something about genetics, too. Very different bloodlines are less likely to birth children with deformities, etc. Unless my facts are wrong.

Having Bible studies to make you strong

how many times in the religion were you offered a bible study to build yourself up again?i have been thinking about it and i think i must hold the current title for this cos apart from the first study which brought me in i have had at least seven others!everytime i got 'weak' i'd be offered yet another study with some sister to help me - and one is trying to get me to have another one but i've had 2 with her b4!

!personally i think that with all these studies under my belt i don't think another one is going to help me much do you!

My uncle bugs me about studying with him every once in a while. I just say "well, I'm studying with my mom.", even though thats a lie.

I bet he's to embarassed to ask if she studies with me, cuz that would question her loyalty :P .

The joys of politics. They protect you when you don't need them, and dump you in your hour of turmoil.

Article 14

3. Freedom to manifest one's religion or beliefs may be subject only to such limitations as are prescribed by law and are necessary to protect public safety, order, health or morals, or the fundamental rights and freedoms of others.

Paragraph 2 says that the parent provides instruction, but includes the words "consistent with the evolving capabilities...". In my thinking, that means that since I'm fully capable in free thought, I've 'evolved' beyond the point of being forced through religion by my mom.

The one problem is, I'm not sure if the USA ratified this or not. I'm pretty sure they did, since USA tries to be nice to it's people and all. I don't see a reason why they'd not.

But this is just the first time I've seen it written, after a long time of searching, that I do indeed have rights.

What's this? Getting set up by....mom?

I'm not really into the email thing, I like MSN. It's nice and quick. I treat it as a real conversation. It gives me real freinds, not the fake things the society throws out. As it stands, I only know a few people online that I call freinds.

Although, I get on late at night (the only time mom is asleep, lol). So that probably ruins any chances I have ^^. I have no doubt I'll find someone EVENTUALLY. I havn't the slightest on how to look. But apparently saying "I'm lonely" online works :P .

I'm that person that was here like...a month or two ago, then disapeared.

I came back one day, only to find that I was signed out. Password somethin or other. So I requested password, signed in, and didn't realize I was signed in. So I just went off and did other things.

But I can't stay away for long.

I learned lots of smart stuff here (I now use the word 'dub' when talking to myself, as I do so often because theres no1 else I can trust to talk to).

And I've become more sure in my own beliefs. And more sure about the crime perpetrated against me (lack of regard for me being a HUMAN BEING capable of having my own wants, needs, beliefs, and thoughts).

And I know to lay low.

Gone is my constant desire to start a war with my mother and tell her this and that, all in a vain attempt for my freedom.

Now, the hardest thing for me to do is watch all the cute girls mislead in such a way. If I could get away with it, I'd run away and take them all with me :P .

Basically, I consider myself an adult. So what if the government doesn't think so? I can think freely, and have done so for several years. I pick and choose what to belive and what not to believe. And I'm extremely lonely like this. I have noone it feels. No real freinds or family. No significant other that I so desire. No woman that feels about me the way I feel about her.

My enemy is time and lonliness.

But enough poetic ramblings! I'm a jolly chap, I can get through this with a smile, like every other day! It's good to be back, and write things like that, cuz it makes me feel better. Don't even care if you read it (and your poor folks will, sorry). I just have to keep telling myself "A year and a half, a year and a half!"

I'm funny, at least I personally think I am. I like the beach (and long walks on it). I'm sensitive, and I listen. I'm vigorous and spry. Theres rarely a dull moment with me. I plan on learning psychology, theres money and brains in that business (or so I've been told) . I've never even been close to the "Water that ruins lives". I'm just under 6 feet tall, and like that new song "crazy" or whatever it is :P . And I can play defense like nobody's business. And free throws are easy.

Theres only one problem with me....

Not counting that, I'm not allowed to date, not even allowed to look at women. And I'll surely be killed by demons if I even had a hint about what "sex" is (I don't know at all what that is, or why there are 2 genders).

But just because I'm underage doesn't mean I don't get lonely!

All I want is a girlfreind...I wouldn't try anything stupid....I know the consequences. But I just want someone to talk to, that can understand me on another level. And is damned good to look at, to boot.
