  Donate for worldwide work- did you ask ?

  it was much easier for me when we used to charge for literature than ask the householder if they wanted to contribute to the worldwide work.i was too embarassed.

  that's why i just gave the literature away and not put them on the spot.. the witnesses that did ask the householder to contribute would usually never get a donation.. what was your experience?

  I never asked and no one ever offered. Not one donation for the Crotchtower. How appropriate.

  Are those claiming to be annointed, nutters?

  i remember at an assembly someone saying "oh yeh thats such and such, he's annointed...you can really tell" or something like that.. are those claiming, that they are annointed nutters?

  did their alphabet spaghetti spell it out for them?

  personally i think they are either very very confused, big headed or nutters

  I would go if someone in the family invited me to a wedding and I think I would also go for a funeral. It would suck and be uncomfortable, but I really want them all to know that I am NOT effected by their choices and policies. I would go and act like I was going to a wedding or funeral in any other church in the world. If anyone tried to witness to me me, I would let them know how much closer to God I feel since I left the organization and I would never want to alienate him again by joining the group that worships the governing body.

  If you go...it may give them reason to start bugging you. Friendly annoying visits from Smellders may start. I personally wish they would forget I exist. Just a thought!

  they're admiring the sights when, all of a sudden, the pope's hat (zucchetto) blows off his head and out into the water.

  secret service guys start to launch a boat, but president bush waves them off, saying, "wait, wait.

  i have recently(df'ed) left the tower after being raised in the "truth".

  kinda weird but in an exciting way!

  the one thing i do miss is the friendships it sucks some have such a hard line, but that is the price they pay.

  I'm sure Agapa has always been the sort of JW that most JWs look upon as weak and really not one of them.

  If that's the case...then I hope agape can learn something here and free him/herself from that aweful org that makes people feel like crap. If he/she is an apologist that I welcome the comments as well as they do help us xjw's see where we came from and is a constant reminder as to why we left. I take issue with remarks that he/she makes on the threads of others needing support.

  Come on swan don't be so mad at me. I haven't done anything to you. if you got to know me you would actually like me

  I think you're an instigator. People come here and post heartfelt stories about the heartbreak that they have experienced due to the org. Then you swoop in your with your little jabs and everyone gets so aggravated at you that they get sidetracked. When we should be supporting those that are hurt we are debating rubbish with you. Why do you come to this site if you are a faithful witness? It's obviously a site full of "apostates" and you have been warned by the society to steer clear. Do you have doubts about the org? Are you here for the info and support? Are you here to try and make people see the errors of their ways (like a WT vigilante)?
