Does it hurt you when they cry?
by LyinEyes ini talked to my dad yesterday , i had some thing to tell him about my sister's death, things i found out at the police station.
well, anyway......he told me that what keeps him going is knowing that he will see ginger really soon.
he told me he didnt mean to preach to me but he loves me and wants us all to make it thru the big a, so we can all be together as a family once again, including my mom and my sister who have passed away.. he told me we have to live for our kids,,,,,and help them thru this old system.

How do the elders deal with a very poor brother or sister?
by JH inlets say a brother or sister loses their job, falls on welfare, doesn't have enough to eat.
what do the elders do?
a) tell them that the organization is not a place to beg but to preach, to give and not to receive.

by Dogpatch inthe last interview i did with bill bowen was in april of 2003, and new things have happened regarding the pedophile issues in the watchtower's corrupt system led by ted jaracz and his corporate cronies.
some things are the same (mainly wt policies), and others have changed.
it took 10 years to develop some legal precendents to be laid down in order for lawsuits against the catholic priest pedophiles to move ahead, and some important legal precedents have now been established in court so as to pave the road for effective lawsuits against the watchtower leaders for their complicity in allowing pedophiles to remain in the congregations in good standing, some even as elders.

i am inviting you to present a defence of the bible in order to strengthen the resolve of the many jw's who read this board anonomously.

Regarding the bible, as everyone has made mention of, the bible is full of errors to begin with. The men that wrote the bible, claim the same as that of the Watchtower, to have God's spirit or God spoke to them, etc.
The bible was written by imperfect men, and as we all know, imperfect men lie, so how can we trust that God even exsist? The Watchtowers answer is, we must have faith! Faith is one thing, but having real solid evidence is another!
Who is to say that as crazy as it may sound, that scientist did not create half of the propaganda they claimed to have found, such as transcripts, etc? How do we know? Were we there?
My point is I have no faith in things I can not "see". Any thoughts on this? If I got off base a tad, forgive me.
