  Bipolar Landlady kicks me out!

  fun times.. a year and a month have passed since i moved in to the house where my cousin deb and her husband bobby live.. i had a small but comfortable room, tv, etc.. a nice cozy family situation, you might say....right?.

  i pay $600 a month to defray expenses.. hunky dory.. sure.

  until the first few eruptions!.

  In the U.S., hospitals can't run your life. You might just send $25 in good faith with a note that you will "pay it back if given time." It is wise to send SOMETHING... it does work in the medical field. And many other creditors... a little-known secret.

  I bought two used Ferraris and their $5000 a month payments I just couldn't keep up. I gave one to Mel Gibson.

  That trick didn't work... but public services do. The problem is widespread, and that's why they give you a ridiculous bill, as some fool will pay it sooner or later out of fear. Just with HMOs but others can get the same results if they ask around. I will not pay twice my rent each month anymore for medical insurance when the hospital is out to kill you. My orderly wouldn't even look me in the eye, or answer a single question, or even dial a phone number for me (I was so drugged I couldn't focus, even with glasses). None of my friends or roommates even knew I was there for 2 days.

  I was in the hospital for nearly 4 days for severe leg cramps, and I have HMO insurance ($1200/month!) which pays ALL except prescriptions (partially). The nurses nearly killed me with very poor care and after 4 days they discovered my doctor just gave me the wrong prescription. Another 10 minutes and I would have found a way to jump out the window, but it was on the first floor, so no go.

  I will not be treated like a wretched beast, damn them (too much of a bad story). The "bill" was about 23K. I paid none of it. Don't have to. My friends showed up on day 4, and since my secretary's boss owns the property the hospital is sitting on, they let me out in 30 minutes. No other ongoing care needed, as I was fine. THEY almost killed me. I just swooned after I fell off my bike and a car hit me at low speed (third time on that drug I fell over on my bike - dizzy).

  The agencies that work at the hospital tried billing me for services I don't have to pay extra for. That's what crappy HMOs are all about - you will never run out of or be billed for the dog food and physical beatings.

  But you will be treated like an animal in L.A. because many of the workers are animals or completely incompetent. Goes with the neighborhood, because they are used to it themselves. Think Compton.

  They don't have near as much hold on you as you think.

  What? Are they going to repossess you?? Take your heart as collateral?

  WTF? Tried Jehovahs Witnesses to delete Raymond from Wikipeda a couple minutes ago?

  i was just googling jehovas and this appears in the list at wikipedia abou raymond franz.. *theinformationon this page was removed by responsible members of the legal coorporation of jehovah's witnesses,watchtower bible and tract society of new york,inc for the sole purpose that this page spread false information about a former member of jehovah's witnesses.the authors of the page are liable and did not remain neutral with regards to the information presented.we request you write a written apology to us..

  P.S. With bipolars just be quiet for awhile and let them begin to feel sorry for their blatant unkindness. Act like they didn't get mean to you, act normal. It often works.

  It often turns them around, as most are passionate and easily "forget" the harsh things they do to others (unless you bring it up to irritate them :-))

  Cynthia still has a LOT of copies of the hardcover version, which is very slightly less desirable than the hardcover edition, which has a few extra pages, but will hold up a lot longer.

  Plus it is harder to burn. :-))

  Before Amazon starts printing the FINAL copy of Crisis (avail. only in paperback) and making it available for under $30, I think they want to get rid of all the older hard copies, which explains why the softcovers are way expensive but the haredcover is about $30. A smart move, but people don't get the reason.

  That's exactly what David Reed told me 15 years ago on the phone in my challenging him on dinosaurs, sins of animals, and young earth theories. :-))

  I was insulted. I loved only a few things in my pre-teens:

  Egypt (been there)

  Dinosaurs (didn't get to meet one yet)

  Horror stories (Ambrose Bierce, etc.)

  Submarines (drew up a design and sent it to the Navy and got a nice reply!)

  I was 9 years old.

  Don't tell me God plays stupid tricks to test us, a pretty lame answer :-)) You have to be desperate to believe this stupidity.

  No wonder Anne Rice became a Catholic, then dropped it after getting bored with braindead clerics.

  Find your place and make the best of it.

  I did all the religious stuff out of pain in my life. I am no saint by any means.

  Over the years I have learned why people get religious, why they stay in, why they defect, and why they persist in believing in spite of logical evidence. It is almost always primal reasons. No one is altruistic.

  I have suffered a great deal of emotional and physical pain in my life.

  It took me 55 years to understand a lot of the underlying reasons.

  But no matter what I think, or how much pain I suffer, or where my head is, or how ornery I can be,

  I have felt the presence of the Holy Spirit in my life almost daily.

  It is not my doing.

  I did not wish for it!

  It was not and IS NOT a one-time experience.

  It has been with me every day since I was 9 years old.

  In 30 years of ministry, I see miracles. Many miracles.

  (Oh God, here he goes, he is like Kathryn Kuhlman). :-))

  Sometimes no matter how hard you try as a Christian,

  you cannot escape witnessing the power of the Holy Spirit in terms of miracles.

  But I have never been able to control it. I have no "in" with the unseen world.

  Neither have I ever feared it.

  I tried to "manipulate God" as a child. I was very insecure.

  It never worked.

  Instead greater miracles seemed to happen all along the way.

  But it was often tempered by physical pain.

  I have grown to almost despise the business side of my work. I am not a desk person. I want to be out with other people.

  Don't judge me unless you have walked beside me. Unless you have seen me laugh and cry with others who are also in pain, almost daily.

  Yet I have not felt alone in over 50 years.

  I can't figure it out, and yet I know all the scams and delusions out there... it is my job, especially as an exit-counselor.

  People think I brag too much, talk about myself too much, or get a rise out of accolades.

  No, some people just need to hear it.

  I was almost autistic as a child.

  I don't get off on compliments. (But am grateful when I get them.)

  It took my hippie days and being a "Jesus Freak" from the 60s to make life bearable and even fun.

  That's why I don't often criticize one's personal religious faith.

  I do not know them enough to do that.

  I only fight bullies and abuse... I leave religion alone for the most part.

  Religion is a natural part of our lives as humans, logical or not.

  It serves a purpose somehow, and I don't think I will really understand that in my life.

  last year i did a review of 2011 for the forum.

  this was more of a review that focussed on some of the awful stuff that was printed in the literature that year - the first year of my awakening.. 2012 has been more interesting from the point of view of things actually happening outside the literature.

  i thought it might be nice to take a look back and put some of these events in chronological order.... .
