I went to so many quick builds as a crazy teenager. My sis and I worked in the kitchen with our gramps. We saw it all while we served the 'brothers' breakfast, lunch and dinner. Holy spirit my ass. Just a bunch of macho male egos flying around everywhere trying to be the big man in charge.
But the view was nice.

New Law Passed -- Adultery will have a 1 year Prison Sentence

phnom penh (reuters) - cambodia's parliament passed a law friday which could send adulterers to jail for up to a year.

the vote prompted a walkout by opposition lawmakers who said the law carried echoes of the khmer rouge and the taliban in a country which should be tackling poverty and corruption instead of legislating about morality.

My fav is the one elder who was a part of my final jc: A pompous shmuck who got a hold of my personal journal (me in therapy) and tried to use it against me. Yes, you may be thinking the same-doctor patient priveledge...he should have known better. Years after I blew a gasket and stormed out I was told he had been carrying on numerous affairs for years. He was removed as Bro. Holier*than*thou*but*can't*keep*it*in*my*pants*elder and asked to move to a different cong.
Most fiascos I knew of always involved some sort of torrid sex scandel. Some married elder ran off with a single pioneer, the married "white" couple with the "non-white" newborn. Fantastic stuff really.

i didnt see an introduction topic, forgive me if this is not the forum.. my name is kyle.

i was born into a jw family in 1981. i spent my child hood not only going to every meeting but also in a home schooling program ran by some of the congregation folks with children.

extremely cut off from the world to say the least.

Last time was over a year ago for grandpa's funeral, out of respect for him and my family. I know I will have to do it again for grandma soon. I sit by my df'd sis and hold hands.

sooo its wet and raining, the folks are down touring bethel and the british musuem and i am at home, alone and listening to my music.. what are you lot doing?

Right now am putting on my pretty face to go sling some cocktails and make a few bucks.
Tomarrow I am going to the Renaissance. Monday is a day off here, so homework and cleaning for me. Kids start school Tuesday.
