last year about this time dagney who i knew as a friend years ago when i was a jw found me through randy w. on facebook.
now, last night i got a friend request from my wife's second cousin.
i told her how when she broke up with her husband and stopped going to meeting i asked my wife for her phone number and how my wife wouldn't give it to me.
Yea, it seems really weird behavior now that we are out, doesn't it? Not to give a relative a phone number? But when I was "in," I probably would have done the same thing...to protect the world from evil apostates.
We are a threat, really, I know that. But it seems crazy now.
See you Thurs!
i need a break from the jw-xmas noo-lite stuff ....... .
today my crush was on tv and a quick blush came to my face as i remembered all the silliness i did to run into him when he was attending jr. college near my grandparents....sigh.... so who was yours?
did your parents highly discourage/disapprove such?.
I was over the moon for Davy Jones. My mother started to worry...
this past week randy was hospitalized.
he is now home recovering and has asked me to let you know that he will need a couple of days to recuperate.
in the mean time: if you have sent him emails or want to send him an email, it might take a couple of days for him to respond.. feel free to leave messages here for him.
Randy! Scary business, thankfully you are with us.
If there is anything I can do, please let me know. Xx
it's for their annual feature, "surprising six figure jobs.
" had the interview been longer, i'd have loved to mention the need to carve out a career, despite my religion and parents' lack of support for an education.. cnn money - "surprising six figure jobs".
here's my website, if you'd like to listen to my voice demos and read my blog.
Nice
And good work on JW Trivia!
there has been some interest recently about the moyle case, and how it may have set a precident in what became the society's disfellowshipping policy.
in july 1939, the chief legal counsel of the watchtower bible & tract society, olin r. moyle, resigned from his position in a protest over conditions at bethel and rutherford's mistreatment of workers.
he did not want to continue living under those conditions and he felt he could effect positive change for his brothers by taking such a stand.
Marked for reading later.
some time ago, i was finally sick and tired of being sick and tired, so i quit drinking.
i have 27 months without a drop and things are much much better.
i started to slack off on the meetings and my excuse was always, i'm better so the gap between meetings isn't as big a deal.
(dammit...busted...)

Welcome Patron! Thank you for bringing the announcement to the board.
Congratulations on making your escape years ago! How wise you were.
I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. Sounds like you had a great time in and out of "the truth". (TM) I let the social aspect keep me in...I regret it daily.
Again welcome!
i am writing this because i am so upset about the bickering and fighting that is going on about oompa.
this was an amazing wonderful, peaceful, giving man who never met a strager who is now deceased and you are taking his name and running all over the place with it using it for your own agendas.
he is not a statistic.
I believe donation to a cause is a great way to go in lieu of flowers. IMHO.
