i've come across a guy on youtube that has been approaching numerous jws in public cart witnessing.
actually, calling it witnessing is beyond a joke because most of the time they are just standing there and in the case of this youtuber, they walk away in silence or turn their heads.the youtuber is not a jw and i don't think he ever was, he calls himself a christian and i don't think he is affiliated with any particular religion.there is one video where he shows about 4 jws standing on a square plate with a yellow marking on the edge, they each have their own plate.
i am curious as to why they are standing on these?

And I guess the brilliant minds at their congo thought to themselves, "hmmm...sitting and chatting amongst ourselves may not be the best idea. Let's put 4 carts together and stand facing out in four directions. That will bring em in!"

i don't see this posted elsewhere, and i don't have the links besides this facebook one.. but here is a 45-minute long bethel talk about the changes at bethel including addressing the hard feelings of people who were given the axe.
basically, everything must change.
we gave remaining bethelites saturday off to do our bidding in "the field" and we give bethelites over 70 an extra day a week off (if you can find any such bethelites).
I tried, watched about 10 minutes then realized I wasn't paying attention. Those condescending, droning voices...
I know many will eat this up, but I think their minds must be conflicted also, especially those who have been around 50+ years. Nothing they can do about it. I can't believe they can be enthusiastic about anything, regardless of the videos published picture them.
I hear through the grapevine a collective groaning...and "it must be so close" said in unsure voices that have uttered the same phrase for decades.
They are adjusting their "sails through the winds of change" right to their graves.
i found out this morning that my brother died last night, he was also an ex jw, 73 years old and died of heart disease and kidney failure.
it was not totally unexpected, as he had been in poor health, but it's a blow, especially as i just lost another brother two years ago.
there were six of us, now only four.
I am so sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.

with last night's meeting it became official: here in the states is a must to keep up with 'jehovah's org' that one fully jumps on board with this tablet/iphone crap.. so, now, all of us that up to this point have refused to follow the wtbts in their electronic/wireless revolution will deal with the browbeating from the 'spiritual' ones.. already receiving lots of grief from hubby and rest of the family/close friends when seen at the meetings with paper publications.

But seriously, they don't want to print crap anymore. Printing is costly compared to putting new info on a webpage. They want to produce videos about "baby Jesus" and lesbian families.
They've never been concerned if anything they demand is easier on the flock...it's always been about what is best for the corporation.
They have always been so focused on their printed materials...it's really an interesting marketing program. I still would love to know who has created this scheme.

Hey tal, T lost everything. There is a group that is looking for pets and she posted today there was a rescued dog of a neighbor, so there is some hope. A FB page is set up to help in locating pets etc.
