If man evolved?
by tornapart ini know anyone who believes in evolution is going to say that there is no 'if' about it.
however.... if man evolved over hundreds of thousands of years ago, why were there only about 200-300 million people alive 2,000 years ago?
surely there'd have been many billions by then?.

Said it before, great discussion. I learned a lot as well.
What I learned years ago, it boils down to faith. If you have faith in something, there is nothing that can be said that will disrupt faith. If a person decides themselves to question what they have faith in, that is the crack in the door that may open to let in discussion/consideration of other opinions and facts.
It reminds me of a discussion on here years ago regarding the flood. The participants were respectful and firm in their own arguments. Every step along the pages, you could see the person of faith rattle hanging on to Bible verse, and eventually, it was "I believe it." End of discusstion.
Well done all.
Edited to add: The mere fact persons of faith are here on this board is a step towards freedom of thought, of course. And I must say, I really enjoy the atmosphere on this board lately.

I asked a "seester" who contacts me regularly if a mutual "friend" (cough) who lives in OK City was ok. She said he was but...wait for it..."7 BROTHERS LOST THEIR HOMES!"
I get so frustrated and impatient with this thinking. I texted back "THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE LOST THEIR HOMES!!! :'("
She did write back "I know, it's so sad."
**sigh**

On the backs of their faithful. They have to use the money they have for something as a non-profit/charity...might as well built "educational" centers. They would never spend it to physically help the flock...only to build build build.
I hate the RBC and the building schemes. My brother was bragging about all the projects going on in the Northwest, some big assembly halls on the Canadian border. I seriously had to bite my tongue so I wouldn't spoil our "nice" visit. Ugh!!!

Perfume / Cologne
by LouBelle inthere are some perfumes that i absolutely just love and a little squirt of it can bring back such good memories, make you feel sexy.
my favorite is dolce & gabbana (red), followed by d&g "the one", followed by coco chanel .
on men, i love the smell of the original hugo boss - used to make my tummy clench in a good way .

zed, it was always hard to find. Strangely, my brain can sort of "smell" just thinking about it. It must be somewhere still.
