But that's great right?
They paid for the education of just the lawyer they wanted. It's perfect.
i have just reviewed the arc evidence given by this man.
it is pathetic.. i am now retired, but until then my professional life was spent in the legal arena.
toole fumbles his way through his answers, fails to understand the principle of 'instructions', and so much more.

How more dreary can they possibly make it look!
From an apostate's standpoint, "good job! WBTS."
...in the jwtalk thread covering the september broadcast re: "generation".. http://jwtalk.net/forums/topic/22665-september-broadcast/page-5.
poor neil, he comes on this forum, he gets hammered.. goes on the virulently pro-jw forum, gets hammered.. you'd almost think he was a troll.....no, couldn't be..... .
i grew up in az, moved to calif and came back in 2000 and just wondering if there's any one out this way..
My family is in Tucson, moved there from California. They have gone to a few meetups in Phoenix, there is a good group there.
A few years ago I posted about visiting Tucson and a few contacted me and we had a great meetup. Several drove from Phoenix to attend. I know for certain 1 person is no longer living there. I'm not sure about the other.
I suggest to keep on bumping this thread in the hopes more will see it. If you can, Wantingout, try to meet up with others. It can really help keep your sanity. I visit my family from time to time in Tucson so I'll keep this in mind. (Great air fares now BTW.)
i dont think ill be able to leave the organization, you see i have no close friends in or outside the jws and my entire family is part of the cult,if i leave my mom and the rest of my family will be heartbroken and i dont want to be the reason they are hurt.
im not particularly close to any of my family members but i still care for them.
i could really use some advice because i have no one else to turn too..
Hi SpunkedTeen. We sure understand your situation. I would offer to you not to make any quick decisions. In the mean time, find a hobbie, or career, something that interests you. Slowly start spending time pursuing it. It will feed your soul and help you figure out what you want to do with your life so you can plan it. Along the way you may find some friends. Nothing happens overnight. But life is long, and there is a lot you can do right now while in your situation.
When you find something you love, it will give you strength down the road to make the decisions you have to make for what is best for you and your life.
I wish you strength for the journey. It will all be worth it. I promise.
check his signature... it looks kind of childish/feminine (at least in my part of the world)... is this a grown man's signature for you?.

What strikes me with this along with Jackson's testimony is the pompous display of importance, (in his mind), of the "depth" of their investigation into the scriptures used so that they do things "just so." They/he misses/miss the big picture of how that just doesn't matter at this point in time. What matters is how to handle abuse cases today, and no one really cares about an in depth review of bronze age law. It was appropriate for that time, but not today. The point is lost on him to the disbelief of the justice and the onlookers. **sigh**
I so wish we could hear Angus' rebuttal to these statements.
soooo...i have recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and am scared out of my mind.
in a weak moment, i called my parents and my mom answered.
i start crying as i tell her about my disease, and this woman says to me:.
That is weird. I am so sorry you have to deal with that on top of your diagnosis.
bethel clarifies "this generation" via letter.

Great video.
Kind of frustrating. But then, Bethel should keep on doing exactly what they are doing. Those that can see through the bluster and double speak will be questioning. Those that buy it should stay right where they are...they need it.
if this has been posted before - sorry.... the comment that they were dubs comes in the 8th paragraph down.

Well that's sad.
in the latest jw broadcast splane is quoted as saying:.
"suppose there was a man who died 10 minutes before joseph was born.
would he be part of joseph's generation?
