  thanks for the responses to my other post.

  i made a side by side chart and compared my niv with the nwt and ki.

  it was difficult to read after i brought it to photobucket so i will just copy and paste the info.

  'Paradise Earth' makes absolutely no sense!

  the jw idea of 'paradise earth' seems to be full of holes.

  will babies of baptized jws also be in the new system?

  if not, how could the child's parents consider it 'paradise' without their children?

  Noah's Ark a full time building project, so where did Noah get his food?

  here is a question about noah and his ark building project.. building an ark would be a full time job!

  and not just building it, the materials that made up the ark had to be collected and fashioned, they just weren't laying about!..

  ok, but what about the food, housing and clothing for noah and his family?

  this is actually a serious question.. when i was a jw, i was taught all kinds of things about how horrible the rcc is.

  i believed it.

  many years after leaving the wts, i began looking into the rcc for myself and discovered that everything i had been told about the rcc by the wts was a lie.

  I don't HATE them, but don't care for the doctrine. Studied all religions at one some points in my life to "prove all things"and the Catholic Church worshiped statues, made Mary a God-like thing to worship....all no good in my book. they never really preached from the Bible years ago, they did everything in Latin. And those repetitive prayers....give me a break. Jesus said God does not want to hear that and taught you how to pray.

  jehovahs witnesses are proud to point out that they are fulfilling the prophecy at matthew 24:14. jws are quick to point out that part of the purpose of the preaching work is so that jehovah can take note of how people respond to the witnessing, and thus can decide if they are worthy of survival or not.

  last year, jws spent 1.4 billion hours in their preaching work.

  so if we take: 6.6 billion people.

  according to spong, not only does hell not exist, but neither does the divinity of christ, a theistic god, miracles, the redemptive property of jesus' death on the cross, his resurrection, his ascension, and many other things besides.

  when they'd warn us at every circuit assembly not to read apostate literature, remember how they'd tell us if we received it in the mail, to throw it away immediately?

  what thoughts went through your mind?.

  mine were: "i don't think i can throw it away.

  I have personally given to some "sisters" at one time literature from the Worldwide Church of God (Tomorrows world) and they have read it and said it was rubbish. I myself, think they are more on tract then the J.W's!

  You are not allowed to read it because it may sway you're mind from the're doctrine....and they would not want that,now do they.

  Yet Paul says to "Prove all things"
