When I was taking Sociology, our prof related a story to us about how a friend of hers (someone in the science field) bought some KFC chicken and did run some sort of tests on the chicken. The result was that they are pumped full of hormones to grow faster. IMHO, some meat industries may have to do this to keep up with the supply and demand. Just how some businesses are run I suppose. With lamb & veal being 2 of my favourite dishes and me being raised as a "meat & potatoes" kinda gal, so really the bleeding heart of Pam Anderson does little to phase me. The grease of KFC turned me off a long time ago anyway.

ok. witness lucy decided to invite estranged non-witness husband ray out for a few drinks last friday evening to the lamb inn, high street, worle.. well, ray was quite pleased, after all, although he and dub lucy are no longer living together, there can be the odd sparkle of you-know-what between them, so he assumed that a boozy and romantic evening was on the cards.. unfortunately, they both got absolutely pie-eyed and decided that "tonight was not the night" and booked seperate taxi's to their seperate homes.
ray got into his taxi and lucy got into hers.. but!

Lucy is a drunken idiot that should be ordered by the judge to crawl around on all fours for the rest fo her life(with no kneepads ). I have NO sympathy whatsoever for people who have such reckless disregard for others and themselves to get behind the wheel of a car in that state.

decent campgrounds fill up pretty quick, so i'd like to look into some.
i know nova scotia & ontario are many moons apart, and there was discussion of 2 separate fests.. if there are 2 separate ones, owens sound area, ontario has some pretty cool campgrounds.. who's in???

I grew up in the Owen Sound area...a little town on the edge of Lake Huron called Port Elgin...Very beautiful area!!! Lots of good camping around there too...Sauble Beach...Southampton...

I'm sick of being mistaken for a prostitute!
by Aztec inthis has happened far too many times now for it to just be happenstance.
over the last year or so i've had at least 10 guys try to "pick me up" while i am out walking.
if it only happened at night it would be one thing but, it's happened early in the morning as well.

OK My turn to be down in the dumps

i am healing well from the surgery.. i finally got my wheelchair and that has allowed me a bit more freedom.
but winter is coming and the wheelchair won't be very useful.. the orthotics.
