Good news: No longer an elder; Bad news: Disappointed wife
by doinmypart inmy wife & i have a good relationship except when it comes to things dealing with the wts.
over the past few years we've both made concessions, and i even made some headway in getting her to think about some things.
but from time-to-time we would end up arguing about something wts-related and there would be days of tension between us.. well, a few weeks ago we were having a casual conversation about wildlife in our area, she mentioned something about jehovah ruining those who ruin the earth.

What's the deal with beards????
by bittersweet inok, so my brother in law, a former elder, decided to grow a beard a while ago.
he initially grew it because he had a small rash he was trying to cover up, but that has since gone, and he has kept the beard.
he kept the beard because it made such a fuss that he decided if he shaved it off it would be like giving in to the brothers.

Being an atheist or an unbeliever how do you explain the thousands
of paranormal phenomena that are well documented in nearly every
country in the world? If you have no belief in God, then explain, why
things that cannot be seen or explained with the naked eye exists
in this world?The people that I have met that are into the paranormal havent been very tightly wrapped.

Answering personal prayer. Giving a non ambiguous sign or communication.
What kind of proof do you need to believe in life after death? Non ambiguous communication with dead loved ones.
What kind of proof do you need to believe in mental telepathy? I think this may exist with or without God. Google Ed Dames.

Now, I will throw out some questions regarding UFO's and life on
other planets. Do you think that the possibility exists that there is
life on other planets? What about UFO's?, There have been a
number of reports dealing with such phenomena. And if your
answer is yes, the question is—could there be a chance that
God exists as well?I would think that life exist on other planets. It is a mathamatical probability.
Theres is a possibility that God exits. I dont think he is the kind of God I once immagined. I want to say hes not the kind of God the bible describes but in reality he is the kind of God the bible describes-one that appears confused to mankind. God could also be a committee of sorts, some kind of design team conducting an experiment. God could very well exhist in another dimension that we at this time are unfamiliar with. And hes conducting his experiments in our dimension.
I doubt there is a loving kind God that will be there when I need him. I am almost sure of that by personal experience. I wish I was wrong.
There are various posibilities as to what is going on with us humans. Starting with godless evolution to- I wont list them all here at this time. But there would be some kind of variation involving a god like entity.
