I left because 1976 came.
I was 32 when I left.
I am a loner and not a follower.
I am not a social enough person to enjoy being around as many people as you have to be around
as a witness.
I'm not a hermit either.
I was born in the cult. It took me 32 years to figure out how to escape.

a little background first.
i have a friend who knows i am inactive, or at least knows i am doing little to nothing for the truth.
When you are unhappy, many times that is called being depressed.
When you are depressed they say get moving, get going.
Often times any activity of movement will help the depression to a degree.
But that doesnt make the "troof" the "truth".
Maybe he wants to do more with the troof so he can find another sister to fool around with.
In a way doing more of someting is the treatment for depression. And he is on the right track in a sense.
I just have a problem with it being the "troof".
But he has bigger fish to fry at the moment than reality.
i was just thinking how thankful i am that i took a typing course in school years ago.
i would think it has to be very difficult posting on a board like this hunting and pecking all the time.
so how fast can you type?
I can type. I took the test that Botchtower Society posted. The first time I got 25, the second time 35 wpm
I took typing in the 7th grade. I type every day at work. I'm not fast, but I'm fast enough for what I have to do.
I work in a jail and have to type police reports all the time maybe thats why I am slow, I deal with a lot of unusual
names and I try to spell them right the first time. We get counselled if we spell inmates names wrong.
I think there is lots of evidence that the bible can be proved wrong.
Having said that, the internet is full of evidence arguing there was a world wide flood.
The first civilization in history, Sumer, speaks of a world wide flood, and that is probably where the bible got its
flood story from.

often times, i read in the magazines that only among jehovahs people will you find true friendship.
I was born in, When my wife had our son the congregation gave us diaper service for a year and cooked our meals for
the first two weeks. But I had been in the congregation for 20 years and my wife for 10.
