what my friend said about jw's
by raven101 ini told a friend just recently that i had been raised a jw.
she had a very interesting observation/opinion about the witness families and individuals she has known.. first i should say that she is an intelligent, well-travelled girl, with a very clear-eyed knack for cutting to the chase on a given subject.
she has a gift for not letting trivialities cloud an issue, and she was not raised in any religion.

But wouldnt you be unhappy if you cannot live your own live?Always have to do what other people tell you to do, have to live by these stupid rules, as a kid being dragged to meetings and being dragged along houses instead of playing f.i foootball with your friends? One ex dub told me that for a very long time he thought nobody loved him as he didnt have any friends at school????? Only years later did he realize it was because he was a J.W.!! Isnt that sad?

If you are already divorced from your 1st husband, then you can marry straight away if you would like. And dont get upset by what other people say, it's your life! Be happy!

before i came to be a witness, i did not think it was important to brush my teeth thoroughly or wash under my arms real good and use deodarant.
i also tended to be a pack rat with a messy car.

We jw not perfect. we make mistakes and we learn from mistakes. Nobody perfect. The elders correct us, if we smell or if we dirty. Worldly people have bragged about how clean jw leave assembly halls. Some you people just wish to overlook that fact
Learn from mistakes?? Apparently not!!! The child abuse cases proof that!
Why do you need an elder to correct you if you smell dirty? Cant you do anything on your OWN??? How pathetic!!!!! My mother told me how to wash myself when I was VERY young, that was enought for the rest of my life!
Ofcourse an assembly hall looks clean, like little kids you are told to clean up and as every J.W. does as he is told to, everybody jumps up, want to score points in case of Armageddon!! lol
