and I don't even know whether I'm a panentheist or pantheist. I know I believe in immanence but I am unsure about transcendence.
I think I am a panentheist, because I believe there is immanence as well as transcendence.

do we have to jump from the watchtowers frying pan into hellfire?.
one of the most appealing doctrines in the theology of jehovahs witnesses is their teaching on hellfire.

God has no need for wrath. Wrath is not a fundamental quality of God. Wrath is a sin. We are not "sinners in the hands of an angry God."

God is infinite, and so we speak of him in human metaphors.

can you name this plant?.
the subject of evolution and the question of why one would believe that various living things are so closely related that they sprang from a common ancestor comes up fairly often.
very strong opinions are expressed.. i thought a visual challenge might be fun .
In Israel they raise them and call them "sabra." Sabra is also a nickname for a native Israeli.

The native Mexicans were possibly the greatest biogenetic engineers of ancient times. Maize (corn) proves it. There is no such thing as wild corn.

We have lots of prickly pears down in these here parts too. You find them a lot in sandy areas, and on beaches.
Mexicans, by the way, raise Opuntias as food. It is called nopal. It is tasty hot or cold, and is supposed to be very good for you with lots of fiber and vitamins. They are cut into strips and look and taste like green beans. I've been thinking of starting up a patch in one of the dry parts of my property. It's a very low maintenance crop.

anyone suffering from depressions take medics?
if so, what can you recommend?
i heard about prozac being the most popular, but i also heard that it can make you impotent.. also i am very curious what cocain is like.
No. I had tried a few others. Zoloft worked great. Your brain chemistry, however, is different from mine. You might do better with one SSRI than with another. However, I hope you aren't buying it off the street. Do see a doctor. JWism can give anyone a depression. My last 4 years in were just hell.

i'll start -.
i have officially gotten 2 out so far, which is more than i ever got into it, with the exception of my son that i begged not to get baptized.
he, however, is disfellowshipped now and wants nothing to do with the organization.
2. My brother in law and my wife.

Prozac is an older med.
The newer drugs are more selective in their activity. This makes them superior.
I used to take Zoloft, and also Cymbalta.
By the way, neither of these drugs made me impotent. Quite the opposite. Yet the interesting sexual side effect it that I could keep it up for a very long time without "scattering the confetti" that accompanies the end of the party.
I have never tried cocaine. I have no intention to. This is, of course, your choice. But other than alcohol and tobacco, I eschew anything that has a reputation for creating addiction...and cocaine does.

i saw one today for the first time in my life.
in fact i had never even heard of it before today.. basically it is an upsidedown rainbow, well actually just a quarter of the circle.
a friend pointed it out to me in the afternoon, as the sun was quite low in the sky.
Sun dogs! I've seen them before. Surprised that they are rare in the UK, with it's reputation for moist atmosphere.
