i feel i drink too much and it concerns me sometimes.
i'm not an alcoholic (isn't that what an alcoholic would say?
) and i never drink in large quantities but if i don't have a glass of wine or a good real ale in my hand of an evening i feel disappointed.

a buddy of mine and i went out to the cardinals/tigers game yesterday.
i bought my tickets through ebay and found front row tix right behind the cardinals bullpen.
of course, it was more than ideal for photographs.. .

After getting swept by the Cubs last weekend. I have started to really dispise Cub fans and their arrogance. For a team who hasn't won a World Series in a hundred years they sure do a lot of chirping.
I see the Cards or the Brewers winning the division, hopefully the Cubs won't even make the playoffs.

That's debatable. I've read stories of people who were burned, and they said that the feeling was quite peaceful after the few initial seconds of pain. The real pain didn't start until they were pulled out and undergoing recovery. You only think burning is the most painful way to die. Truthfully, you can't know.

this thought came to me as result of another thread on healthcare.
alot of people consider caring for their elderly parents to be a burden, mentally, physically and economically.
so my question is this, add into that the emotional upheaval of being shunned or semi shunned by your parental units due to their faith in "jehovah's organization" (i physically gag when i even type that, lol) would you turn your back on them and said, payback is a bitch isn't it?

for me, this was a real hard reality check.
as a witness, my entire life i was convinced that i would see armageddon, that i wouldnt grow old and die.
I handle it by living my life! Death is a reality much as your existience is. So why not enjoy the moments you have instead of worrying about the past or future.
