How can you stand to go to the meetings after finding out about the NGo's and other things talked about here at JWD? I know if I was going I would join the MS might as well they at least think higher of you. By not you are putting a bulls eye on your back.

no, but you need the guidance and teaching to put your points across effectively.. i said - but my job involves standing up in front of literally hundreds of people on a regular basis and delivering policy and instruction.

Nothing important.
by skyking inblinders have many uses for people, religious, political... but no matter the type of blinders, blinders are dangerous.
different people have different ideas, they are not stupid or dumb if their ideas happen to be different than yours.
hurtful words can be as damaging, as damaging as a person with blinders on.

I am not going to stop posting,
I do want them to realize what they are. I have always been the boss where I have worked with hundreds of people working for me. My dad was the same way always the big boss. My brother the one that is not a JW is a big Superintendent whit thousands of people working for him. My family has all ways quickly climbed to the top at record speed. Why because we have people skills, I have seen less fluent people who are passed over that are much more qualified. Why are these people over looked because they let themselves be over looked.
Always remember your ideas are as important as the person that bullies his weight around. I have come to hate these type of people the bullies they step on people leaving a wake of hate. They never really have true work mates people only pretend to like them. I like an open debate I hope people here will remind nasty posters how they come across and not let bullies win by not posting a response just becasue they don't want belittled. I see this happening as I read their post history, The three individual I am talking about don't win the discussions people just stop posting.

The GB, jehovah and correcting grevious errors
by greendawn inwhat do you think about the doctrine of the gb which maintains that it is no one's business to meddle in the way they run god's org (in fact their org) because god himself will put things right in his due time?.
isn't that a disgusting excuse to let them carry on abusing the r&f with false knowledge?
just think of it there are many errors many r&f are pointing them out and god is sitting there mysteriously ignoring the errors and as if by a whim he will at some time later decide to direct the gb to correct these errors.

As I apply told them in a letter which they no doubt never read but someone down the food chain had the opportunity of reading. God pinned the scriptures and he is not about too change as if he has some how miraculously changed his mind. He made it perfectly clear in the scriptures thousands of years ago when he had men of old write the Bible.
I think this policy is the most dangerous of policy's and it filters down to the congregations so the congregations run amok.

Pakistan Wedding for my Quicki Mart Friend
by Sparkplug ina man that works at the corner has been especially nice to the kids and i over the last years.
he had to go back to pakistan recently for 6 months.
he did get married during this time.

I have only been on this board for a few weeks. I have been totally surprised by the hurtful words of three different posters.
I wondered if in their previous posts found in their history would I find a pattern or were they just being rude too me. When looking at their history I found the three are truly A$$ O. They like talking down to other posters and making rude comments. These people have blinders and only see the world as they see it, they don't see a fluid world as normal people see it. I am surprised how high up the chain of humanity they think they are, they are way above ordinary minions that they are forced to deal with in everyday life. It must be an all-empowering feeling to walk and talk knowing how much smarter you are than others put on this earth. I am glad I will never know that power I will be nothing more than a country hick that hopes can be of some help to others on this board.
Lets see how many nasty responses I get to this thread.

it is over a mile around and very beautiful.. anyway, we meandered over and sat down.
within 3 minutes we were approached by jw's.

Stockpiling?
by girasole inmy mother said that the society sent a letter out to all congregations recently saying that they should keep a few days of food and supplies stored up in the case of a disaster.
anyone else heard this?
apparently it has stirred a lot of discussion about the fast approaching end of the system.

Yes it is true they did the congregations was asked to have on hand extra food and water for disasters. Plus to remember Toilet paper.
