My chat with an Elder about the UN thing! Help!
by awakening inwell it was a very long discussion.
the elder knew nothing about the scandal, but he stated that he had no issue with it since when the case was brought to light, the society acted immediately to right their course.
in fact he thought it was a sign that that the organisation was indeed the "truth".

i have been lurking here for about a month or two.
it is really awesome to read so many similar experiences.. for example, when i was still 'in' i wondered if i was the only one in the hall that really hated the meetings.

Blessings, strength, and healing to you, Mike! We love CoCo so very much. As others have already said, any friend of CoCo is a friend of ours.
I am sorry you are having to cope with this challenge. May I recommend a wonderful cd narrated by Jon Kabat-Zinn, who has worked with oncology patients, teaching them healing meditation. I hope it might be a strength and comfort.

Cool tip, Satanus, thank you!
I have a tidbit to offer here, too... I recently have discovered wool felt dryer balls. You use them over and over in your dryer instead of dryer sheets. They fluff the clothes without chemicals (and without clunking sounds in your dryer like some laundry balls do!) and yes, they eliminate static, too. I purchased mine last year at a natural foods store.
The even COOLER thing is that now I see how easy it is to make these balls yourself from wool yarn! Directions here, or Google it.
