  Growing up an elders son, with several uncles who were elders, and even a great-uncle who was of the annointed, I had NO OTHER CHOICE but to be a "good witness". Its interesting though, there was always a voice in my head that said somethings not right here. When I finally got to a stage in my life where I was able to stop blocking out that voice, it was the beginning of the end for me.

  Looking back, even though I had parts in assemblies as a youth, aux pioneered a couple of times, I never reached out to become a MS or elder, and it was because of that little voice.....so I guess in retrospect, no I was never a "good witness".

  i have seen the following statement made on this board several times: 'kn #37 ("the end of false religion is near") was intended by the wbts to provoke the great tribulation.

  that's an intriguing thought.

  i'm just curious where it came from.

  Actually it was KN#35 that was supposed to start the Great Tribulation, no wait.....it was KN#36 that was going to start it........our mistake it was KN#37, oh wait, we're absolutely positive it will be KN#38 that will launch the death of billions of people..................................go forward 30 years...........................we are positive this time, KN#86 will be the catalyst for the calamity to beset all mankind!!!

  I left after 9 years ...

  i just disassociated myself after nine long years in the wtbts after researching the history of the wtbts and its founders and their lies, false prophecies and mind-control doctrines.

  read my profile for more about that.

  anyway, i'm glad there is a wonderful support group for those who have escaped the grasp of the wtbts and enjoy life again without the constant fear that the wtbts instills at every meeting.

  First rock concert

  i have recently talked with other members on jwd about the first time they went to a concert.

  it was interesting the different choices of artists, and the age we were when we finally went to one.. my first was after i got my driver's license, so i was 16 years old.

  i went to see a concert with black oak arkansas, foghat, and montrose (when sammy hagar was just a pup).

  how do i load a 20" floor buffer in the back of my pick up alone without killing my back?

  the society has changed equally as big doctrines in the past, but could this end the illusion?

  i have read a lot of leolaia posts and have seen the attempt of scholar to counteract however unconvincingly.

  im not after conspiracy, im after fact, could they move the end of the gentile times to 1934/35?

  But seriously, look at all of the changes and crisis' the organization has gotten away with over the years.......organ transplants, vaccinations, blood and fractions, 1914 generation change, 1975, pedophiles, UN involvememt, mis-quoting sources in publications, Millions now Living will never die!! etc....... and yet the R&F still blindly follow the GB and their henchmen. Its a hypnotic relationship.....witnesses are programmed to defend the org and its leaders at all costs and go into this mode much like a "body snatcher". They forego all rational and reasonable thought.
