I remember you also. I haven't been on here for years but posted something the other day looking for an old jw publication I needed to get my hands on.
Nice seeing you again! Life has been too darn awesome and busy for me to post in the last 5 years but I think about all my old "friends" on JWD/JWN a lot and wonder how they are all doing as well as the new people just joining or lurking.

certainly, in these end times, we may encounter individuals who do not heed the counsel found at 1st wlg, 3:13. yes, that is correct, as apalling as it sounds...they do the unthinkable.
they drunk post.. many of us have been tempted, nay, stumbled into the sin of drunk posting.
but there are those among us who have traveled the dark path, and from them we learn what not to do.
ha ha! I've drunk posted before....those were the days! lol.

for a while i was considering moving back to my hometown for several reasons.
the only problem is all of my family there are witnessesand it would have been really hard on me.
but at the same time, i was in a relationship that was unhealthy, my emotional needs were unnoticed and i was more of a fixture or trophy, and felt trapped.. .

not an art. an unhealthy pattern. you recognized. that is sometimes the hardest part, but now you have the ability to change it.

i recently posted a topic on loosing it with my father, so some of you would know my nan isnt doing well.
they finally got rid of the infection on monday we were all relieved.

I am so sorry. my grandmother is older and I dread the day I'll have to say goodbye to her. she was more a mother to me than my own mother.
so, so, so very sorry. sigh.
just thought i'd bring you all a noah update as promised.. he's doing well, a good sleeper by all accounts but on the recieving end he's keeping us awake more than enough lol.. mummy is tired, daddy is tired but happy - we got what we wanted - hard to believe this was in megan all this time...weird .
hope all of you are doing well, i'm enjoying being free of the site for the time being and although i see me returning one day, it will be in a new capacity and after learning a few more things about myself and life.. till the next noah update!.

awesome news Karl. I'm not around here too much these days but just took a peak and saw your thread and had to respond. those first 6-8 weeks can be the toughest so hang in there when you are just so tired you think you can't do anymore! is Meagan nursing? if so, how is that going?

btw havent forgotten other topic, meg and i will look at that later.. megan had a long long labour, the induction took aaaaaaaages but things suddenly sped up at 15:00pm and by 16:45 he was out.

You are an amazing woman - that was a huge baby! You have gone through birth, it's a right of passage to say the least. you are forever changed sweetie!

don't know if anyone suggested this or not but I buy those oven bags and cover the turkey in olive oil and then sprinkle with adobo, salt, and pepper. cook in the oven according to directions and then enjoy. the meat stays really moist cooked in those oven bags!
i am starting to think about the joyous season already - i know, i know, i am way too early.
it is still summer in the northern hemisphere, school has only just gotten started, and the leaves haven't even turned yet.
still - i suppose i have catching up to do.
funny, the kids and I were talking about x-mas this morning while on the way to school. they can't wait! their papa (my dad who left the org.) will be celebrating with us this year and we are all excited about that!
is it really only about 100 days away???!!!
