  Beards, when were they banned?

  i know it has been talked about before, but does anyone have information as to when jw started banning beards.

  my wife is telling me that it started in the 60/70's because of the hippies, but i know i read somewhere on here that it was much earlier.. .

  oil industry behemoth exxon mobil corp. said thursday its third-quarter earnings rose to $10.49 billion, the second-largest quarterly profit ever recorded by a publicly traded u.s. company.. the report comes as high crude prices this year have fueled record profits in the oil industry, triggering an outcry from consumers who were being asked to pay about $3 a gallon for gasoline in early august.. the largest quarterly profit ever was exxon mobil's $10.71 billion profit in the fourth quarter of 2005.. they may beat that next quarter, said howard silverblatt standard & poor's senior index analyst.

  when i was "in" an acquaintance said to me - you lot want it all ways , when the bible says the sign of the end is "wars and reports of wars "you grab that.when the bible says a cry of "peace and security" is a sign if the end you grab that.. contrasting signs but both a pointer to the end times.. did he have a point ?.

  Basically and overwhelmingly depressed .

  I feel like a loved one has commited adultery and I am the innocent party.

  I have mud on my boots and I'm trying to claw myself away and to freedom. It ain't easy.
