the other day i asked my hubby what we were going to do this year on halloween.

he said, hide out in the basement with the lights off as usual.. i wasn't going for that this year.

today i stopped off at the store, bought some scary decorations, a spooky cd and loads of candy.

Have you ever had an encounter with a UFO?

when i was about 16 years old, a group of us friends would go hiking a lot on the weekend.

we would rough it to some degree, just a sleeping back and sleeping under the stars.

one night, while hiking into a lake in northern california, we all were sleeping in a clearing just out of legal distance from a small mountain lake we liked to fish in.

Hey Abaddon, if and when you see sh1t that you can not explain which of the three senarios do you go with?

I have recently become comfortable to acknowledge that there are some things that I do not understand. I don't condemn others for their views, or think that they are inferior just because they view things differently.

i am beginning to think the medical community is much like our watchtower foes, i am beginning to think the medical community is wishing for a medical armageddon that hasn't happened.

what happened to sars?

wasn't it supposed to kill hundreds of millions?

There is a huge problem in the fish population in the Great Lakes area. There is a major quarantine in effect. A virus that had affected only one type of fish has spread to many others now.

A veternarian friend of mine that works with fish left from the northwest to that region last night to evaluate the problem.

The cross species jump is what gets scary.

I recall Kingdom News #16. I shared extensively in handing out that tract. I also remember one in 1982 on a similar theme.

Infinite number of oranges and boxes does every box contain an orange?

following the fun of the recent evolution v designed designer discussion we knocked some ideas about infinity around in the office starting with the above question.. clearly the answer is no but is it?

does infinite then presuppose an infinite universe to contain the infinite oranges and boxes but then how can you have two infinite sets in the same space?

now this is possible if you contain each orange in a box (make the oranges a set within the box - literally!

I checked the oranges and they all contained boxes. As a matter of fact maybe we are all inside of a large box. Or maybe a small box. Or was it that we all came out of a box?? Or was it orange boxes??

Hi The wanderer!!

I used to read the Awake mag faithfully. My efforts should have earned me a college degree by now.

When they started publishing it only once a month I decided that my education could stand a little expansion. From reading additional information,(some scientific, some history, some just thought provoking logic) I have decided that WT literature is adulterated bs, and some outright lies.

Hopefully by next year I can afford to go back to school and get the real education that the cult has kept me from for the last 45+ years.

Watchtower literature should be outlawed for children and the weak minded like I was. I think someone already said that.

I am ready to burn all of my old wt literature. Does anyone else want to have a bonfire???

I think it was in the 1980's that the local congregation had a book burning of incriminating older books. Does anyone remember that? It's time for another one!!!!!
