give a few examples in which the watchtower should stick to religion and mind it's own business in the internal affairs of it's members.. 1) whatever has to do with health and medical treatment.. 2) who you can marry and sex they can have.. add to the list..
1) If you go to kingdom hall on your vacation
2) If I don't want to go in debt to go to assemblies
3)Unchaperoned dating (for singles)
4) If Married couples can have whatever sex they want together
5) If singles masturbate (better than getting AIDS)
7) If I don't want to pioneer
8)If I want to check out information on the web
9) If I don't want to discuss my love life with elders when I haven't done anything ( not having a sex life is embarrassing too

the wts society spokeman writes that blood transfusions may cause immunological disorders.
since modern medicine gave out thousands of infected blood transfusions in the past causing death and ravaging disease such as aids and incurable and horrible hepatitis to mention some, there is reason for concern.. how safe and effective is blood treatment today?

hi everyone, i know this has been brought up before.
but i was just wondering, do any of you know of any home business, with an easy start-up, legit, and a nice little income earner.
i am finding it tough, i am raising 2 teenage boys and my rent has gone up alot, starting dec. 1. .
First are you looking for a business to AT HOME or FROM HOME, from home has alot more opportunities. If you good at sales, commissioned selling is good. I sell promotional products to businesses. Pens , mugs, caps and t-shirts all having the business aqdvertising on them. Since I'm freelance I can off if I need to. I get paid weekly for the orders I send in. I don't have to buy anything, or use any capital. The downside is most businesses are open 9-5 weekdays.

I didn't have a problem with being accepted, I just noticed their favorite scriptures were not the same ones as wts. What I'm not used to is alive band playing music for half the service, flag waving, raising arms instead of bowing heads,hearing 'preach it brother' during sermons, or people passing out during an 'alter call'.
The biggest difference, wts taught you may survive the big A, or be resurrected if you did enough service. This teaches God doesn't realy want anyone to be destroyed, but I'm still not into the 'rapture thing'.
another thread indicated that wwcog had been ahead of jw's in saying that holidays were 'verbotten' - and that the wts then picked up on the cue as additional ammunition to keep witnesses under control and 'seperate from the world'.. can this be confirmed with dates/times ?

I've many jws say "the WWCOG was the closest other domination to the truth" . Many said they didn't want to join it because of the tithing, food restrictions and Saturday sabbath.
