What I hated was in my senoir hs year, had about 14 other jws as classmates. It was a vo-tec school which may explain why so many were there. If I would have thought more about it, I would not have ID myself to them and could have just been myself.

How embarrassed were you to be a JW?
by exwitless ini, for one, was often embarrassed to be a jw; i always felt guilty about that, because it was always drilled into us that we should never be ashamed of our "religious heritage".
well, it's really hard to be the only one at your workplace who doesn't celebrate christmas, birthdays, etc.
it just draws so much unwanted attention to you, like when people try to tiptoe around certain subjects in your presence.

What can they sue me for? I don't have much money, my jw parents were talked out of helping me go to collage ( my parents did encourage trade school in 1978 ).
What grounds could they sue for? I could expose more, plus all I have to say is that I BELIEVE what I wrote. I'm not condoning violence, vandalism or other mischief

The hardest part is getting them to take an honest look. Different points may be of more importance than others.
points of interest:
(1) According to wts -Jesus is the mediator only between God and the 144,000, not All Men
(2)WTS was a United Nations Nongovernment Organization member for 10 years UNTIL EXPOSED on the internet
(3) JWs can't donate blood to save a life, but Jesus shed his blood for us
(4) WTS has kept donated stock in a cigarette manufacturer and a military contractor
(5) WTS has tried to regulate sexual activities of married couples without scriptural basis
(6) WTS discourages higher education
(7) They state WTS is God's Organization on earth, yet have had numerous errors in it's history

Blondie, the question you raised about how did Jesus remain perfect even though Mary was imperfect, I understand it this way:
Sin entered the world through Adam, so imperfection or perfection is passed through the 'seed' not the egg of the mother. Just as scientist have found some genetic traits are passed only from the female, while others are passed from the male. If Joseph wasn't the biological father nor any other male descendant of Adam, Jesus didn't inherit the imperfection.

People with multiple sex partners in their past, present and future?
by free2beme inwhat i have wondered, is how true were the witnesses about the psychological affect of having multiple sex partners in our lives?
i remember reading, and hearing in talks, that people who have turned themselves into the type of person who engages in indiscriminate sex, will suffer depression, problems in relationships and illnesses related to such a life style.
this line of fear was often drawn, to make a young person in the congregation fear the idea of having sex out of wedlock, and perhaps be enough to control the extreme drive of their hormones in early years.

i have been friends with sam (fictious name) for about seven years.
we are not real close friends, but have a good quality relationship that is mostly confined to the office.. recently, sam told me that he had an issue with a female agent who tried to get him fired.

Hey mimus, the church I'm going to now has 2 restrooms, both are unisex. just lock the door when you go in. That would have cleared the issue. I don't think any transgender people are going to it, but I'm not checking it out.
