After going to this years district convention. It seems the GB knows it's over. I don't think the GB thinks that the watchtower is going to make it to 2014. Everything was so see thru a blind could of seen thru it, and to top it off the drama sucked. I mean no one was even trying to fake how good it was they just left and said nothing. In fact I think I heard a complaint outloud. It was an apostate paradise.

Is it possible to succeed without making enemies in the process?

or at best no enemies who can present a viable "good reason" against you and your success?

You can't! That is how you suceed. You adapt to each new enemy you come in contact with it's evolution the requeen's race. Just keep running and fighting, if you stop you go backwards, or die

i remember after my sister got baptised she said that the brother who dunked her under told her not to listen to a song, i think it was "new sensation" or something like that which was a popular song for the 80's period.
i remember a lot of songs being banned because of lyrics that had nothing to do with what they thought it had to do with.

I can confirm the bethel witch hunt for rap and heavy metal albums. They have it in for country and some pop as well. Though I hear you don't get sent home automatcily for it, as you would for the former. They just trash it.

You don't need one if it isn't on the kingdom melodies, it's banned by association with satan's world. Though, I know elders and pioneers the love stairway to heaven, ( by Led Zepplin) depite the the known occult refrences. Not to knock the song it's good, but slightly strange for an elder or his wife to like.

Wikipedia being abused by Jehovahs Witnesses
by Simon ini had a look at the wikipedia entry for jehovahs witnesses yesterday and noticed that it wasn't as comprehensive as it once was.. most links to non-pro-jw sites have gone as is anything truly critical or exposing of their beliefs and practices.. last night i added a link to this site to the "other sources" section.
this morning it is gone.. i wonder whether this is some private zealot who has decided to do it or an organised campaign?.

Realization about the Adam and Eve myth
by CordyC inas i looked at the adam and eve story again, i realized the something is wrong with the story.
jehovah offers the pair all the fruits in the garden of eden save the tree of the knowledge of good and bad.
there's a problem though, why would there be a fruit for that if bad supposedly wasn't around at that point yet?

hey, What about the gnostic view of the OT god being Satan. Satan would entrap. Not the I really belive gnostic myth's either. Better idea satan posing as god, tricks humanity into thinking it owes God (Satan) worship.
