I totally agree that the last video was hard to follow but it was interesting. If you have time check out "Out of the Blue" or "UFO The Greatest Story Never Told" on youtube. Again I'm still on the fence about it but they have some interesting arguments. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

I'm reading "The Secret History of Nasa". It's crazy the stuff they have found. Check out the video, I just found it this morning. I don't typically believe in this stuff but who really knows eh? It's just interesting. Let me know what you think.

so i just registered and i thought i should say something about myself instead of just lurking about.

i'm 21 years old and i left the the jw's when i was 18. i was born into the religion so it's been really hard getting use to things.

my story is pretty complicated and for some safety reasons i can't say to much.

I am so sorry to all of you who commented and didn't get a response from me. It's been a couple years which I took off from everything. You are all wonderful people. Thank you for making me feel welcome. Juni, thank you for the bear it made my day, even if it is two years later. Greymatters, I do have lots to back up my fantastic claims but I'm not here to prove anything just tell my story. Thanks for taking the time to comment though. Kid-A it's nice to see a fellow Canuck fan here! To everyone else again thank you for the support. Hopefully we'll get in contact again real soon. I hope you all are doing well and are happy. I can't take this pain anymore...my life at dead end

my life has reached to a dead end...i'm stuck and there is no way out.

i was inactive for 6 years and i'm disfellowshiped for the past 3. i would never think that my life would have been in this terrible mess.. .

i wasn't planned to be disfellowshiped by my "wife" turned me in to the elders for apostasy 2 times!!!

Hi Justhuman,

I won't get into my story for safety reasons however I can very much relate to your story from the view point of your kids. My dad left and my mom was a very devoted to the JW's. It was hard on us kids but my mom slowly came around, I never ever thought she would leave, she couldn't be told anything. Once my dad left I saw it was okay to leave as well and I followed in my dad's foot steps. Now my whole family is out except for my sister, we are still struggling with that but we have an understanding. I know it seems like there is no way out but I assure you there is. A wise man told me " To live well is the best revenge". Show your wife that you can have a normal life without the organization, that combined with baby steps, like the book Crisis of Concience by Ray Franz is how my dad got through to my mom.

Unfortunately sometimes it means loosing contact with loved ones, it's a hard thing to experience but honestly everything happens for a reason. Be thankful you got out sooner rather then later. You will be ok!!

Surprise, My MIL Got Baptized This Weekend

in recent months, my sister-in-law (sister's sister) got reinstated after about 14+ years out.

i speculated that this may have been because my mother-in-law may want to get baptized.

mil has gone to meetings faithfully for more than 20 years, but never did a lick of field circus and never moved toward baptism because her work related to babylon the great.

It's funny isn't it. People sure can suprise you eh? I never thought my mom would leave the JW's, I thought my household would always remain divided. My mom is not a JW anymore due to a lot of soul searching and research into the jw's she and my dad have done. The real "truth" is chilling to say the least but remember you are definitely not a lone. It takes some more time then others hopefully she will come around soon.
