Sounds like they just wanted the super JWS who dress nice, have money and are healthy to attend, all others need not apply.
The WTS. have always been public image creators within their organization but this is gone far to the extreme.
I wonder if Jesus would be this selective when upon announcing a public talk ?

Isn't higher education particularly in the medical field the main element that keeps these old crooked cronies living on in their elder years?
Just like many other religious cults they too demean higher education and the possible benefits for humanity or toward the individual.
The biggest sin to these guys is getting intellectually more advanced than themselves, which isn't that far from a grade school level.

Got Disfellowshipped!
by time2keepmoving inwell, i was disfellowshipped about 2 weeks ago.
i was in it for ten years and it was 9 years and 11 months too long.
i honestly don't know why it took me so long to do my research on this organization.

religious cult . The destructive way this cult exploits people for the good of its publishing agenda by the Watchtower society is
sickening to say the least. But like you say they lure people in with their tactics of eternal Paradise and so forth but then overpower your life
to their will and benefit, nullifying each individual life with little importance, its all about supporting the organization and pushing literature. .
Fortunately now for many there is a lot of background information on the Net that people can do some research on the JW organization and
realize just how corrupt and fraudulent it really is. All the best in getting your family back together

He's Trying to get me to come back to the fold...by admitting the faults of the Watchtower
by PYRAMIDSCHEME inmy firend (who is an elder) recently sent the email below trying to get me to come back.
he freely admits the faults of the wt and even goes on to say that even if they did not have gods holy spirit, he felt they would still have gods blessing as the one true religion.
i thought i would get your thoughts on this as it really is (sadly) delusional.

Yeah I do get the impression he has done a lot of research into so called "apostate" teachings
The WTS. Publishing Corporation have always been apostate teachers opposing biblical Scripture but adversely presented to the public
coercively as bible truths in the vein of crass commercialism.
Whether one accepts this or not might be totally dependent upon that individuals personally integrity and honesty in face of the
gathered upon evidence.

One thing JWS will try and substantiate themselves with is " We are the only organization that is preaching the true gospel to mankind "
In reality they are not preaching the true gospel of the bible, rather they are preaching the false gospel of prophetic charlatans. $$$

You've just been given a bunch of corrupt maligning bullshit that supports his own powerful spiritual stature.
People left the WTS. because of the organization's blatant corruption and lies......myself included.
Religion is a game of power, the corruption part appears in the underling progression of obtaining that power.
How does your friend respond to the bible's instruction of staying away and not listening to false prophets,
even more so ones that operate a commercial publishing business ?
One has to take in consideration of JW elders standing up for their own obtained power stature that the WTS.
organization offered these men and their own endeavors to protect that given power.

evaluation. Its a unfortunate shame that people cant see through the WTS. bullshit propaganda set out to support its literature
proliferation. The underlining business model is proclaim your god's special chosen organization to dispel bible Truth then
exploit that proclamation as posturing vehicle to propagate false commercialized doctrines.

i am a regular pioneer in my cong reading crisis of conscience.here goes...
by MsGrowingGirl20 ini'm on page 90 right now...the info is definitely new and gives me a totally diff view as to how i used to think of faithful and discreet slave.
i was thoroughly disgusted with the way the brothers handled the oral sex and leadership problem and the insight on the scriptures book...... still have alot of questions though.

Reading Crisis of Conscience is a good start to realizing the inner working of the WTS. publishing house.
There are other avenues of information one can reseach as well and there are easily obtainable on the Net. somewhere.
Learning " The Truth" about the Truth is an eye opening experience for folks wanting to know why this devious coercive
publishing house got started and why it still exist today.
