I Have a New Method for Dealing With Ridiculous Assumptions
by AllTimeJeff inmy one disclaimer is this: to my theistic friends, i am not saying the following to be disrespectful of your beliefs.
however, since i don't believe as you all do, it is only honest of me to present this.. i bring this up because i have been caught up lately in debates that i normally don't involve myself in.
i have been left a little drained and confused as to why i allowed myself to argue a point till its beaten to a bloody pulp.

Jeff - its because some people open the door to illogical reasoning when they should have closed it,
in turn they open irrational probabilities and try created a solid argument based on them.
Its very difficult to try and rationalize with a closed mind with a padlock on it.
When it comes to mythology consider it the mother load of ridiculous assumptions

I down play it very much, it just another bullshit crap that been orchestrated by religion,
bullshit and religion are synonymous with one another if you haven't noticed.
If everyone is doing it and this still happens in companies, bite your tongue and
go along with it and if you need to learn how to wrap a gift I'm sure you can find
some info on the Net . A lot of companies do not do this any more because it insults
people who are not Christian or of another religious faith.
Or plan B tell them you do not celebrate Christmas because your a JW and it is not part of your faith.
there can be certain backlash effects though that you have to aware of.

Does anyone find it too painful to read the WTS publications?
by dissed inbeen out 13 years and even for research purposes, i find it way too painful to read this wt stuff.. and why?.
all the painful memories it brings back.
don't misread me, it has nothing to do with a guilty conscience.. it has to do with the real pain, the anger of being ripped off and lied too by the wts, the anger of seing how they have protected child molesters, sacrificed its followers by refusing blood transfusions, the treacherous way we and others were treated by the 'unloving brothers'.

Probably more anger and disgust than anything else, seeing their ignorance and corrupt ways to try trap
people's minds and control them is really disturbing.
Men playing god and decimating lives and killing people including children got to be disgusting to most.
Their luring techniques are typical cultish.
Sadly they are not serving or worshiping a god at all they are serving a pretentious man made publishing Empire/Corporation.

Was the Jehovah's Witnesses sect called into existence to undermine Christianity?
by RULES & REGULATIONS ini have just finished the book ''worldwide evil and misery'' by robin de ruiter.
the book is about how approximately 300 men and unseen powers pull the strings and determine the fate of the world.
the new world order govern our politics, business, social, and intellectual process.. on page 100 titled ''undermining the faith in christianity'', he writes that many destructive religious sects were formed in the nineteenth century by the clans of the rothschilds, warburgs, and rockefellers.

No not necessarily it was orchestrated on ignorance in hand with a power playing opportunity to sell magazines and books,
is it any wonder why the corporation eventually announced they they were the true faithful slave guided by god.
Religions market themselves openly like any other commodity to the public, its just that its done unabashedly by certain groups to support themselves..
You have to also consider the money put into this corporation also to keep the presses rolling and not lose the initial investment
in equipment and raw materials, not to mention the magazines that the salesmen needed to continue selling door to door.
Some times you have to look deep inside of the workings of an operation to understand it completely.

"Obeying The Slave"----Only In Watchtower Land Could A "Slave" Have More Prominence
by minimus inthink about what slaves do.
they work for the master and they humbly work hard and if they don't they'll get punished.
a slave is lower in rank than any others.

Former Jehovah's Witness Governing Body member Raymond Franz has claimed the religion employs its interpretation of the "faithful and discreet slave" parable primarily to support the concept of centralized administrative authority in order to exercise control over members of the religion by demanding their loyalty and submission. [35] He says the "anointed" remnant claimed to comprise the "slave" class have negligible input into Watch Tower doctrine and direction, which are set by the Governing Body. [36] He claims the description of the slave in the parable as a "class" of Christians is unsupported by scripture and is used to emphasise the concept of the slave being connected to an organization, thus diminishing its application to individuals in encouraging the qualities of faith, discretion, watchfulness and individual responsibility. He argues that if the application of figures in Jesus' corresponding parables as members of a class were consistent, there would also be a "ten-mina class" and "five-mina class" relating to Luke 19:12-27 and a "many strokes class" and "few strokes class" arising from Luke 12: 47-48. [37]
Franz also argues that the Watch Tower Society and its entire body of doctrines was built on the independent Bible study of its founder, Charles Taze Russell, who neither consulted any existing "faithful and discreet slave" class for enlightenment, nor believed in the concept as currently taught by the Society. [38] He concludes: "In its efforts to deny that Jesus Christ is now dealing, or would ever deal, with individuals apart from an organization, a unique 'channel', the teaching produces an untenable position. It claims that Christ did precisely that in dealing with Russell as an individual apart from any organization." [
