  i am new here so hi to all.. i was raised in the cult, i call it a cult because it fits.. i am selling my home and moving away because they keep coming to my home to try to get me to say i do not agree with the society, by doing this they will have all they need to df me.. my wife wants me to just send a letter of disassociation, i see her point but i do not want them to be able to say what they want to so bad, [we had a bad person in our midst and we took action to get rid of him].

  i would rather be left in good standing and keep the thorn in their side.. my wife and my self have not gone to meetings for 10 years now.

  both our families are witnesses,and they do not have anything to do with us for the most part, her mother and father will talk to her if she comes around but it all has to be on their terms.

  Hello, and welcome!

  I have moved several times since leaving the JW's. I am so glad I do nat have to worry about seeing anyone I knew before....and stress about running into someone at the store at any given time. I think you will find relief!

  the ghost hunters are coming to set up their cams, and voice recorders and such.

  they pretty much rule out as much as they can before even considering it paranormal........which is good.

  they already commented on two of my videos......ruling them out lol.

  Urban Legends in the JWs

  what was your favorite urban legend whilst you were in the jws that you now know to be just a buncha hullaballoo?

  my favorite one was when a child brought a smurf doll to the kingdom hall and that thing just got up and went screaming out of the kingdom hall on its' own two feet.

  i cracked up on that one.. .

  How bout the one where the guy killed the avon lady...while sparing the JW that was just at his door earlier because he saw a BIG MAN with her. (How would anyone ever know....and while JW's do go into the weird neighborhoods....Avon ladies tend to avoid them....like any smart person would)

  I Got Married

  i will start....i can speak conversational albanian....thanks to the foreign language field...really useful in everyday life as a cleaner....sniff...why didnt i pick mandarin?

  ..would be useful when they take over the world....but one day i will find an albanian to talk to ...that or a needle in a haystack....the emmerdalian world of jw's

  I have given "mouth to mouth" to an opposum.....I used my fist to create the airway though....so it is not as bad as it sounds!

  I love pet rats too!! They are soooo smart. I had a couple a few years back that would run around the house and come to me when I "called". It is hard to explain how sweet they are to people who havn't ever seen a pet one.

  Do you like being a parent or grandparent better?

  i would have never thought that i would like being grandfather but i enjoy it more than being a parent, anyone else feel the same way?.

  oh, by the way, my darlings are my new avatar, it is so fun being a grandfather and seeing the next generation come along, anyone else feel this way?.

  ABR...Your grandbabies are adorable!! My lil' Megan is myavatar....I think she looks like Elmer Fud in the pic...she was wearing dads camping hat!

  I love being a mom....and I can't wait to be a grandparent. I think my husbands parents would like to be the parents of their g-kids though.

  Went to the Scan for Baby

  well, the baby is very secretive because its legs were crossed (15 weeks 5 days approx - due date september 2nd) so we couldn't tell what sex it was, if you can tell at this early stage.. anyhow its all there, and appears healthy and although this kind of scan doesn't really tell you much, the signs were good and we were really happy to just know all is well.. it was sucking its thumb, it wriggled a bit and its heart rate was fine.

  you could make out a majority of its body parts from its ears to feet, knees and pot belly.. hopefully sometime in the not too distant future i will have obtained a scanner of some kind to be able to get it on the net for you folks to see.. .

  That is WONDERFULL!!!! I think it is pretty hard to tell that early....usually they do it after 20 weeks to be more acurate. Isn't it amazing though?? I am happy for you both...actually, all 3 of you!
