there was no one more self rightious then me.

after four years of looking for love or even brotherly concern in n.y. bethel i found out no one really cared.

i was not unusual for a bethel overseer never to ask how a worker under his control was doing, i had 4 overseers in 4 years over me, no one ever ask about me personly.

Do JW's have a bible base for what they practice?

Or do they have a monetary basis for what they practice?

The answer is no. To say that ST. Paul (..??)) SAID such and such is no different no matter who makes that assertion.

Disfellowshiping kills. And the bottom line is, the community is going to start holding this religion accountable for any damage it does.

So Watchtower, you GO AHEAD and send rapists to our doors, and teh victims/survivors to the morgue and to the mental wards.

And pay for it. Period. How's that.

it seems that there is much anger on this place.

in my country we do not understand the manifestation of hostility manifested on a public board.

if some of these people do not calm down, they might be next terrorists in news.

In the last six months, 9 Jehovah's Witness children have met their deaths by murder. At the hands of their primary caregivers.

if the wt reversed its policy on blood and made it a conscience matter, would most jws still reject blood as an option?

That's their only way out, and the sooner the better. "Don't ask don't tell".

No matter what Watchtower says the bible says that god says, NOWHERE in the bible does it say that blood transfusion therapy is an ezpulsion/ shunning offense.

The United States Government gave JW's the right to go door to door. In return, they have blatantly and flagrantly sent known molesters to people's doors.

THANKS WATCHTOWER!!!

The least Watchtower can do in return for this immoral policy perpetrated on the public is to lower the social burden of the never ending constant court cases the blood doctrine causes (especially with minors)as well as stop the line of molesters at the doors.

coersion is coersion, I don't care if you're 9 months, 9 years, or 90 years old.

I think involuntary transfusion is going to become the norm. As it should be until Watchtower changes.

J.R.Brown is a proven public liar.

If the Watchtower removes the expulsion/shunning for blood transfusions, being in the way of resulting stampede could be fatal.

The proof? The little girl in Canada. She goes before the judge and says she doesn't want one type of blood, but she'll accept a different blood therapy.

The incdulous judge asks: What's the difference?

She replies basically, that Watchtower says the other kind is okay.

I rest my case.

LETTERS TO BOE/DON"T WATCH DATELINE?

has anyone seen or heard of any letters going out from headquarters to the body of elders directing them to inform the congregations not to watch dateline?

i was wondering if this is really true or just a rumor.

if it is true, this is terrible that they can actually deny members freedom of press or punishment.

They're doing that all by themselves.

Sending convicted rapists to people's doors was a BIIIIGGG BAAD PR move.

There is no such thing as a blood substitute. Any one who says that is lying.

When Watchtower says JW's don't accept blood, they are lying. JW's accept EVERY FORM of blood there is except five things; even then it's okay if it's from cow's blood, even then it's okay to accept it ONCE with repentance.

A choice between blood transfusion therapy and expulsion/shunning is not an informed choice. It's no choice at all. For the first time in legal history that issue of CHOICE was properly dealt with in Canada, and now we will see more adults and children involuntarily transfused.

The threat of expulsion/shunning is coersion, plain and simple. Health care workers are under NO law and NO obligation to accept 'consent' <gag> <choke> that is NOT free and NOT informed. That is their right, as trained and experienced professionals, to make that conclusion and decision on behalf of their patients.

Wake up JW"s and join the real world. Things are changing. No longer are you going to make your "children pass through the fire, a thing I have not commanded and that did not even come up into my heart."

JW are only here to be persecuted. They LIVE for persecution, they CRAVE persecution, they do ANYTHING for persecution.

Pro Watchtowerites come to this board for the sole purposes of harrassing rape and molestation survivors (you can't do that at teh doors, what a shame!!) and of getting people angry at them so they can claim 'persecution'.

Seeing as how most pro-watchtowerites rarely invovle involve themselves on the threads where someone needs help, or info, or any kinbd of human need, it makes it very very obvious what their pitful priorities are.

Which in turn, makes it very very obvious what their priorities are at the doors.

The way I see it, calling the Watchtower false prophets is the lesser of two evils because then, according to the same law by Watchtower maintains the rape resistance and blood abstention rule, we would have to stone the Governing Body to death.

Becasue in teh alternative, Watchtower leaders LIED. If they believed their own drivel, that's one thing. But did they believe it?
