Who's mail is "lipstik01"?

does anyone get mail here that you do not recognize, and so you delete it when it, may be someone from the board here responding to your post?.

lipstik01 mailed me but when i started to open it i got a warning that opening this could cause computor problems.. has there ever been a virus sender from this board?

( i'm not implying you are "lipstik"... whoever you are)

A popster whose name I can't remember (sorry!!) put someothing up on the board regarding these replicating virses:

The very first address in your address book should be an invalid one. When the virus try to rplicate itself, it will see that the eamil is not valid, and will stop itself right thtere.

Make sure it's the FIRST address, beginning with 1 I think...say 1dungbeetleyahoo.com, which si not valid.

Even if the new virus designers figure a way around it, it will stop the old viruses in case your virus system is down or something.

newport - from his cell in the lincoln county jail, christian longo has been writing letters to family friends, not admitting his guilt outright, but describing his actions last december.. "he said..."i picked the wrong reasons and i might have done something wrong, but i did do things for a reason and we were the happiest we'd ever been for the last year that she was alive," says longo's brother-in-law mark baker.. longo, accused of killing his wife mary jane and their three children last december along the oregon coast, was found by mexican authorities and fbi agents at a resort beach camp near cancun in january.. in his letters, baker says longo also mentions reuniting with mary jane and their children because of the couple's jehovah's witness faith in everlasting life.. "he says they'll be back together someday," says baker.

It seems to me, with what little I know, that he had a lot to gain financially by getting rid of his family. That doesn't sit too well with jurors---at least God I HOPE it doesn't sit well with jurors.

If he can set up a case that he was distraught and really thought he was doing them all a favor, perhaps he thinks a jury will go easier on him.

Ho hum, just another day in our wonderful legal system.

ok peeps, i just got a phone call from the sister i've been studying with.

we're getting together next tues (i've been working overtime, so i haven't had any contact since i started posting on here.

) i'm soooo nervous, i just know she's going to try to talk me out of quitting.

Two BIGGEST mistakes people make in talking to JW's:

(1)They focus on doctrine, bad idea, all religions have doctrine, and JW's are taught "THEOCRATIC WARFARE" so they have thte right to lie to you AND THAT IS THE END OF THAT. It' such a totall wasted use of time to aregue/reason with people are (a) taught to lie and (b) lie so much they don't feel it's wrong anymore.

Focus on THE HUMAN CONDITION becasue JW's have no training or experience to argue with you on this. They have no defenses, are not taugh tany by the Watchtower.

For instance: Watchtower and alternative service. "Sister, isn't it wonderful that now Watchtower allows alternative service. Imagine how happy the 300 JW men languising in prison in Greece must feel, knowing that NO MORE JW's have to go through this experience!! I just feel like writing them all letters of support and encouragement for their sacrifices that have bettered the cause of all JW men all over the world."

(2) Asking the wrong questions the wrong way. Instead of asking, "Is it really true that Watchtower teaches that only Jehovah's Witnesses will survive Armegeddon". Big mistake. You're asking to be lied to here.

Rather: "Is it really true that JW's (PUT THE EMPHASIS ON THE PERSON HERE)carry Watchtowers door to door and in the streets, that say that only JW's will survive Armegeddon? That even being a person of good will, (say the Seventh Day Adventists whose help Watchtower is accepting)is not good enough? You carry these magazines AROUND with you and give them to people? (say it wiith an incredulous voice).

They have authorization from Watchtower to lie to your face, there isn't much you can do. Or they can rationalize "I'm not lying to him, I am just not going to give this information RIGHT NOW, but later."

Watchtower teaches these things for a reason.

It's their hearts you have to reach. Watchtower has many of their minds. They do not have the JW's hearts. They do not have that capability. That is the JW's strength, and reaching their hearts is what will help free them.

Just my 1/2 cents worth.

Need some help.

there was a thread the other day that stuck in my mind.

i've just spent the last three hours trying to find it and i hope someone can remember its name, as i'm about to give up.. as i recollect, one gal was speaking of her miserable marriage to an elder who kept throwing the scripture about the "marital due" etc., at her and demanding it every day regardless of how she felt or anything else, including her being 8 months along in a difficult pregnancy.

i've known men like this and detest them.. there were other poignant experiences in the same thread.. i mentioned this thread to my wife as being something she ought to read and she showed interest.

Well, I MET some of the film crew and one reporter in Ritzville. If I had trudged from the midwest to Washington, back to the midwest and whereever else, spending all that time away from friends and family and hearth and home, and spent one year filming an episode of a show that I wasn't sure would ever make it on the air....

IIII would appreciate a little support myself.

Watchtower has been known not to count partakers in an effort to get the numbers down. The excuses I'm hearing at the Kingdumb Hall EVERY SINGLE MEETING friggin' almost is that

The number of ACTUAL partakers is only 4500.

What, we have 4000 fake partakers? What's a 'fake' partaker? What's a 'real' partaker?

You gotta figure, if the number goes UP no matter how few they count, there must really be 10,000 plus partakers.

just in case you do read the post here.

i want to thank you for giving the silent lambs a voice.. i doubt this will bring the wt to it's knees, but it will make the public aware of the wt policy on molestation, and maybe, just maybe, it will make them change that policy, and in doing so, will protect many other children from having to live through what so many others have in the past.. from the bottom of my heart........thank you.

I said: Over half of the states in the US have horrendously weak laws regarding this issue, if you live in one of those states you have your work cut out for you.

Later on I'm going to post the states using the infor outnfree so generously put up.
