Paedophilia - BBC Documentary - Horrific

i have just watched about half of part 2 of the bbc documentary on the pursuit of paedophiles in the uk.

i couldn't watch all of it because it churned my stomach completely.

i was completely shocked by what i saw and i was horrified by the lack of remorse shown by a paedophile who had been abusing children for 25 years who kept trying to change the subject to a discussion of female circumcision.. the sentences were minimal with 6 years for this particular abuser.

Legal Question: How Strong is Barbara's Case?

a question for the legal beagles out there:.

since the watchtower thugs have told the press during the dateline repartee that barbara anderson was not being taken to task for her anti-molestation iniitatives, but alleged that she was being tried for ``allegations or serious sins'' unrelated to her activism, how strong a case would she have in court?.

bear in mind that barbara and the others of the dateline four say they did nothing more than speak for the protection of children and then publicly challenged the wt to publicly state their accusations and evidence, and that they would indemnify them against any charges arising therefrom.. so.... if they call her a sinner, say that her sin has nothing to do with whistle-blowing and is serious enough to merit expulsion -- as serious as adultery or theft, yet refuse to accept her challenge to show the world the basis of their charges if they are held harmless, how is that not libel and therefore actionable?

Up untill recently, Watchtower could disfellowship anyone they want..there was always someone willing to fill their shoes. People with low self-esteem, psychologically damaged, emotionally dependant were a dime a dozen .

Not so anymore .

Up untill recently, lawyers were willing to lie and co-conspire using 'Theocratic War Strategy' lying right to judges faces, including Canada. These lawyers were willing to risk losing their license and going to jail for blackmail, abuse of the legal system, and criminal co-conspiracy.

Not necessarily so anymore .

hi lawyers of the gov body!.......how are you?.........by now there must be at least one of you that realizes the gov body's position on this issue is morally wrong........they are harboring pedophiles, and children are being molested and victimized........and you are defending them!........do you feel jehovah wants you to do that?...........think of the little children.........and what jehovah wants you to do.......... do you feel a loyalty to the gov body because they put you through law school?

yes, dear lawyers how does it feel:

1) To be part of a criminal conspiracy to hide and protect sexual assaults on children? Publicly--IN PRINT? For this you could lose your license. Or you could even go to jail, for advocating and having a share in this conspiracy that dates back to the 1960's.

2) To be part of a criminal BLACKMAIL and EXTORTION conspiracy. Publicly and IN PRINT. Yes, religions can expel anyone anytime they choose, but if it can be shown that they used the threat of expulsion/shunning to force someone to assist and perpetuate a criminal conspiracy against their will---as you tried to do with Erica and her family and Bill and Barbara and the Pandellos---you have broken the law, dear lawyers. You can lose your license and GO TO JAIL.

Thank you dear WAtchtower lawyers, you are OUR BEST FRIEND. Waht we could not do YOU DID...you attached a ring to Watchtower's nose and LED THEM TO THE GUILLITINE FOR US. Committing two criminal offenses IN WRITING AND FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE.

it was excellent.

it was great to hear the former attorneys speaking out, one who had defended a priest when he was a young attorney of 37 years old, but no more, he says, since "he has seen too much.

I would love to know why RICO can't be used against the Watchtower.

Watchtower was stupid enough to put it's polciies IN WRITING...in the two 'org' books, the 'elders' book, and all those Watchtowers. You don't even need the BOE letters, slthough of course they can't hurt.

1) When a JW commits a crime, TELL THE ELDERS

2) When a JW commits a crime, DON'T TELL ANYONE ELSE. period. CONCEAL THE CRIME This policy is in WRITING dating all the way back to the 1960's and before.

3) When you tell the elders of the crime committed YOU ARE TO DO NOTHING ELSE. Zilch. Nada. Zero. Speak to no on, go to no one.

I don't see the problem here with suing Watchtower.

in less than two weeks my baby graduates high school.

Sounds like 'empty nest syndrome' to me. They don't have to LEAVE for you to get it.

It's like jet lag. Beleive me, you don't have to travel to get it.

Hugs to ya, I went through all that. Broke both legs in a hit-and run car to pedestrian auto accident and neded help with the most basic of things from my kids while they were really little. It was a time of growing up for me, to rely on someone else, and young people at that, for basic needs.

Make you feel better now?

in compliance with the scriptures, however, members can be expelled for serious unchristian conduct, such as stealing, drunkenness, or adultery, if they do not repent and cease such actions.

yes, family ties:

marriage cannot be dissolved merely becasue one mate is disfellowshiped

if a minor child is disfellowshiped, legal obligations for parental support, discipline and education still remain.

responsibility toward an elderly parent still remain.

That's what it means, and that's all it means, and that doesn't answer the question either, the question was SHUNNING, not legal obligations.
