  but i was wondering if there are any good threads or resources that discuss who the faithful and discreet slave really is.

  not what the watchtower says but what the bible is really saying.

  does the bible identify this "slave"?.

  i was wondering what an elder or ms might say to a wife who has an unbelieving mate?.

  especially if her mate is in direct opposition of the truth.

  i dont necessarily mean that her life in any physical danger.

  i was reading this yesterday during the public talk.

  why does it say jehovah our god is one jehovah and not jehovah our god is one god?

  A couple of weeks ago

  a brother gave a talk (i don't remember what it was called).

  he asked the audience what they would do to prove to someone that the bible is gods word.

  the brother who gave the talk said that we would likely want to direct the individual to various bible prophecies because they give us proof that the bible is inspired of god.. i was wondering what your opinions were on this subject.

  17 the bible shows that all the many forms of false religion are part of "babylon the great.

  " (revelation 17:5) that name calls to mind the ancient city of babylon, where false religion started up after the flood of noahs day.

  genisis 4:14 says: here you are actually driving me this day from off the surface of the ground, and from your face i shall be concealed; and i must become a wanderer and fugitive on the earth, and it is certain that anyone finding me will kill me.. 16 says: with that cain went away from the face of jehovah and took up residence in the land of fugitiveness (or nod') to the east of e den.. 17 says: afterward cain had intercourse with his wife and she became pregnant and gave birth to e noch.

  then he engaged in building a city and called the citys name by the name of his son e noch.. .
