  my husband came home from the grocery store yesterday (christmas eve).

  and said he saw a witness couple driving around the parking lot handing out mags from their car window.

  i mean how lazy is that?

  My husband came home from the grocery store yesterday (christmas eve). And said he saw a witness couple driving around the parking lot handing out mags from their car window.

  I mean how lazy is that? They weren't even getting out of their car. They were just ambushing these poor people as they were trying to put their groceries in their car.

  I just thought it was a new low. An easy way to count some more time imo.

  What do you know about Unitarian Universalist?

  i have read on their website that then are a noncreed religion, and welcome all sorts of views and that they encourage their members to be active in community and charities, etc,.

  what do you guys know about this church?

  i was thinking about checking one of the churches out around here.

  I thought I had read somewhere that more and more of the UU churches were becoming more earth based, which I took to mean pagan. Is that correct?

  Also, I have a good friend who goes to the Unity Church and says that it is very open to different views also. I was thinking of checking it out after the holidays.

  If anyone knows anything about Unity please let me know :)

  What is the funniest thing that happened to you...

  ...or someone else at a meeting or an assembly?.

  for me it was when a brother while at the podium mentioned a party were there were no elders present and proceded to castigate the person who organized the party.

  however, the person who organized the party was there and as the brother was going on that person got up and yelled at the brother telling him that he had no right to do that and then he stormed out of the kingdom hall.

  A brother was reading the watchtower study and kept having a hard time saying organism, he kept saying orgasm. It was quite comical.

  I also thought it was funny at one KH I attended, there was a df'd sister who always partook of the emblems at memorial. And the brother's couldn't do anything about it. At another KH at the memorial somebody's bible study took the emblems and shared it with his wife and kids.

  And of course it was always a good time had by all when someone had to relieve excess gas out of their system.

  Trying Not To Peep..

  as we now have our central heating boiler installed in our old fireplace, i have been getting more than a little worried as to exactly how santa will come down the chimney so as to leave me with lots of nice prezzies.

  its also been complicated getting my prezzy list to him as i normally send this up the chimney about a week before christmas day.. her ladyship came to the rescue and suggested that i pin my prezzy request list to the communal notice board in the dining room, so i took my pen and wrote: .

  i can't recall whether or not i have posted the account of how a brother in havant, hampshire, uk was deliberately blown up in a gas explosion, almost certainly at the hands of his father-in-law, who was also a witness from worthing, also in the uk.. oh yes, i witnessed this with my own eyes too.. if i have already related this, please stop me.. englishman.. bring on the dancing girls!
