Great post free2be!
I want to add Jane Goodall to it as well. She cares enough to stand up for what she believes in, and I've always admired her!
the february 15th watchtower 2007, is spectacularly nauseating!!!
at least i found it so.. i would welcome the opinion of all on the board to this sentiment on page 19, paragraph 8 and9:.
'although subjection can be challenging, women can welcome it as honorable, even as did jesus.

Ok, so let me get this straight:
If women are supposed to treat men the way Jesus treated Jehovah, then the JW chicks might as well pray to men, since Jesus obviously prayed to Jehovah.
And what scripture did they manage to pull out of their ass that says women are the roll models for the angels?!?! Hahaha, I love how those old turds just make this crap up as they go.
I have GOT to get my sisters out of there one day!
i've shown this to a couple of friends, but i'm ready to widen that audience a bit.
so, without further ado, here's my soul mate story.. i worked with amber and saw her a few times a week.
when i first accepted a lead care position, she was the one who trained me in on med passing and from that first day i worked with her, i was so impressed by how kind and patient she was.
Yeah, I try to get my husband to confront me all the time. He still loves to serve...
ok, i've heard it all: sincerity, honesty, security, money, love, romance, flowers, poems, promises, and more.
but, in my arguably limited experience, i've been shot down while doing all of these (at differnt times obviously).
so, what do women really want?
Why thank you, searching4truth I know I'm not the only girl who feels that way about men putting out well. I suffer from a severe lack of tact!

Ah, I just read the other thread. Well, I frankly had no part in that conversation because I saw that it was generalizing before it even got started, lol.
My first sentence in my reply to this one was "not all women want the same thing".

But stinking won't get you a date either! Hah!
You asked how many women wanted a man who smells good, and then one raised her hand and you shot her down. You did, after all, say that it was a good example of a woman who is a little specific. There ya go!
Yeah, I agree, saying you like "nice" men isn't really describing what you like in a person. I just don't like the gender generalization.

So Steph, are you saying that women generally like men who are mean?
Because if you use logic, nice = not mean.
Don't say women generally don't use logic. Logic is my middle name!! My other middle name is perv...

Thanks looking glass, I'm glad I'm not the only chick who hates flowers!
I have given it some thought, and I've come up with the things I personally like in a guy (besides sex).
Funny is good, clingy is bad. Macho is horrid. Show-offs are gross. Guys who are smart and witty, awesome. Guys who check out the waitress, .
A guy who can have the perfect balance of pervertedness is the best. A guy who acts sloppy and nasty is gross, but a guy who can hint around about what he'd like to do to me in the sack is so SEXY!! I mean, mentioning handcuffs on the first date with a sly smirk is beyond perfection.
I am not too big on guys who like to tell me I am the greatest girl ever. How could anyone know that? It just sounds like sucking up. I'd rather a guy to keep that mushy stuff to himself.
But like I said, not all women are the same. You gotta find a girl and read her personality before talking about handcuffs because you could terrify the poor thing!!!
many of us came out of the jws with very little dating experience under our belts (married or not), and a lot of us were very lost when it came to the opposite sex.
the wts didn't help us learn how to pick a woman, how to court her, or even how to have sex with her.
there's a lot of horror stories about first jw sexual encounters, and a lot of horror stories about dating after leaving the org.. i made it a goal to catch up on my dating experience after i deprogrammed myself, and i learned a lot about the competitive and tricky dating world.
LOL, don't you think that the women here might actually know more about how to impress women than any man-whore?? I mean, come on...we are the ones who decide whether your strategies actually sound appealing or not!
Post away!

Not all women want the same thing.
The only thing I ever looked for in a guy was the ability to deliver great sex!!! Roses are such a turn-off to me. But then again, I am not every woman.
Why do you ask this?
