i was born in 1965, the same year that malcolm x was assassinated.

my father had committed suicide a few months into my mother's pregnancy so we lived with her parents until she married again when i was about 18 months old.

So now you're claiming that Cyrus may have been a Muslim, as if that's better than Alexander having been one? And are you truly confessing a belief that Zoroastrianism is a root of Islam? That should please the Sufis... Shame so many of them have lost their lives over time, though.

Jelcant nor the Quran claim that Cyrus was a Muslim. Cyrus most closely fits the descriptin of the Qur'an, but the Qur'an never names Alexander or Cyrus. Besides, who is to say that Zoroaster was not originally a propeht? The Qur'an says there were over 100,000 Prophets, and that a prophet was sent to all nations. His teachings could have very easily have been distorted into the known Zoroastrian beliefs of today.

When a Muslim prays, they are standing before God, the five prayers are also known as the contact prayers. You can't stand before God while blood flows from your body. Using women hygienic products doesn't stop the blood from flownig, it simply absorbs the blood that does flow. I'm not trying to gross anyone out, but would any guy perform any sexual act on a woman that is menstruating? Why not if there is nothing wrong with? So you're saying it's gross for you, but it should be good for God? Don't you find this reasoning sick and twisted?

One cannot stand before God while unclean. If someone were to use the bathroom for either one or two, they must wash with water, and do ablusion again before praying. If someone passed gas while praying, he's got to do ablusion and begin prayer over again. If someone were to have an orgasm, they need to shower before prayer, if there was contact between unamarried man and woman (such as a rub, or a soft touch that was intended) they both have to do ablusion again. That's it. Beats drinking a beer and passing gas in the pick-up truck on your way to church (All Christians don't do this, and JW's never would, but down here in my little town in FL, I've seen even worse).

Basically, Mary, Jelcat and others are happy being Musims, and this board insists on attacking them. From what I've seen, they fight off arguments soundly, then the defeated arguments are quietly dropped while new ones are launched. And when you get down low enough in the thread, the dropped argument is brought back again, and the process begins all over again. SOME of you people may have been better off being witnesses, it seems you don't know what to do with all your free time other than be hateful to others simply because they choose to believe differently than you. Use your energies on something positive, there is already too much pain in this world.

Alright, now lets all go out and try and have a nice day, for all we know, it could be our last.

Need help (I know, we've seen this a million time)

i know that this already exists in past threads, but i'd like an answer that fits my situation.

today i had an older witness preach to me and quoting every verse about a new earth and heaven, and meek shall inherit the eart, and the "do you have loved ones that died and you'd like to see again?".

anyway, he said he's coming back with a gift yada yada.. he's really nice and i don't want to offend him, cause he's an old man.

He's really nice and I don't want to offend him, cause he's an old man. I need material that will stump him, without coming off as rude or attacking. He has the usual Jehovah verses memorized and talks a million and fifty-two words a minute. I've got the usual false prophecy and UN and whatever else info, but he doesn't want to hear that, I didn't even try, you all know. I need bible verses that he cannot answer. If possible, I'd like to jump verse to verse like he did to make my point.

Help needed in getting df'd

if a witness wanted to get df'd by asking questions, what questions would you suggest?

i got my fiance out, but the problem is now with her family.

first thing, we want to get her out of those meetings.

Not good. What if she were to begin asking these questions to other witnesses? Surely the elders wouldn't want her casting doubt throughout the congregation? She would just need to make it seem like these are just issues that concern her, or that she needs answers to because these questions were posed during her service work.

She believes so. She said her mother would never stand for it because she's asking valid questions. We already have one letter from the watchtower calling her spiritually weak basically for asking questions about the blood issue and the new light on organ transplants and vaccines. We did late last year using a fake name. An elder came to my work (That's the address we used) and asked for her, I said she quit and moved, but that I would e-mail her and have her call. She talked to him on the phone, and he said that he was just making sure she was really a witness before the society wrote back. So now, we want to try this approach.

She recently visited her family, and her mother had just found out that there was a child molestor in their congregation that was moved to another. Her mother was really upset about that.

By the way, she and her mother are the only two that are baptized in the family. Her father is not. Her sister and brother are 16 and 7 I think.

If anyone could give me some sample questions that would be great. The child abuse I think would be good because she has a family member that was abused before becoming a witness, that hits close to home because her family is sensitive to that.

First thing, we want to get her out of those meetings. Her mother would be furious at the society if she were df'd for asking questions, so that is the approach we want to take before attempting to get her family out. What questions would you suggest of her to ask in letters to the Watchtower and to elders? The quicker she's df'd the better.
