  It took a while, but I finally remembered, the sister I was with was wearing a bright green dress, and we were working the countryside in Puerto Rico, well out of nowhere, out came this horse that somehow escaped his enclosure, and man, that horse took one look at the sister's green dress and he chased us down the road, sister screaming bloody murder! Me, I was running and laughing my @$$ off! At least it cut the service short! The horse tried to eat the sister's green dress.....LMAO!rocky220

  the fundamentalist church of jesus christ of latter day saints has polygamist teaching that has resulted in several sexual abuse and statutory rape cases.

  one city on the az border, colorado city allegedly has this problem.

  last week on "the learning channel" on (satellite) dish tv i happened across a program titled, "the end of extinction: cloning the tasmanian tiger.

  no teaching in the bible is clearer and more consistent than the one which holds women to be inferior to men.

  below i show that it is taught that the woman was created from man, for man, that man--not woman--is the glory of god, and that women are not allowed to teach or control man because the woman, not the man, is the one who was deceived by the serpent.

  First of all, the Bible as a whole was created by a patriarcal-based religion.....once again MEN of ancient times "speaking" on behalf of or "inspired" by or presuming to take the "will" of God for their own power & control.....hence the whole "Garden of Eden" incident [which IMHO is nothing but a myth]..........not to mention over the centuries of documented changes in re-publishing the Bible to further serve whatever ruler [a man] was in power, who would seize the opportunity to further benefit his agenda through the false indoctrination of the poor and ignorant masses....and of course to keep the woman in her "proper" place....rocky220

  The Elder That Wanted To Disfellowship The Dead

  i mentioned about the elder that masturbated in another post.

  this same man at the elder's school, felt that the appropriate course to take against a person that committed suicide was to disfellowship him.

  when he was questioned about the reason, he felt that the person, no doubt, committed a sin against the spirit.

  Yes, I remember when I was in my early teens, in Puerto Rico, how parents were taking kids out of highschool, due to this misguided message.....but think about this; Isn't it easier to manage and control the minds of millions of rank&file all over the world, with limited education or sophistication,making it easy to impose their false doctrines and teachings without question?   years ago, at an elder's school, the subject of secret sins and masturbation was discussed.

  the instructer mentioned how "secret sins" could affect the spirit of the congregation.

  when the subject of masturbation was"handled", a brother decided to put his hand up to "confess".this was obviously not meant to be a question and answer discussion, but the co called on the elder.

  I AM A NEWBIE, NEED HELP

  i have been lurking around here for some time,,, i personally know laurie fitzwater and what she has gone through we lived in bradenton.

  florida in the late 80's .... she is the one telling me to come here for help ,,, a hug ,,, i have a nightmare of a story which involves married to a professed annointed one who made me and my childrens life pure hell on earth....i guess he needed to be replaced as he was df twice and was never a ms or elder..... go figure i suffer from severe depression and post-traumatic stress and have tried to end it all numerous times... but the turning point for me was this demon--inspired internet and all the truth it contains i also read george orwells.. 1984 --big brother is watching ,,,, doublespeak;;;; its us versus them just to name a few of my eye---opening events i have 5 children,,, and only one my baby (16) in the borg....... i really cant go on ,,, i have emailed lady lee and she helped me alot .... but i have to be careful...... there are spies everywhere....i still attend meetings.

  to some extent... missed the assembly this weekend tho.. so please be gentle and reasure me.... i am baby--stepping,,, i am doing the work.............
